Kings claims to close at 9:00 on their website and google page. I arrived at 8:03 and was locked out while they continued to serve customers inside. The counter girls are lazy and rude many other were turned away with me and did not understand the early closing. As a new Cape May ice cream spot I am really disappointed.

Amazing! Definitely the best ice cream shop in Cape May! The vibe is everything I would want plus more in an ice cream shop.

This was a disappointing experience for me and my family. The highlights, the people behind the counter were nice, the atmosphere is good, and the ice cream itself was good quality, but unfortunately the toppings we had were stale, the marshmallows were very hard. For $1.50 a topping I would expect more then maybe a half of an oreo on top. It was way over priced almost $10 for a small ice cream with 1 topping. The service was extremely slow, almost 6-7 min after we ordered for each ice cream to come out. Finally, while the people were nice, they weren’t wearing gloves, and some of the hygiene behind the counter was questionable, overall with all of the ice cream options I would probably skip. They still have some kinks to workout!

Wow this was a neat find! New ice cream shop in the area but with the service and quality of a shop thats been in business for a while. We ordered an ube ice cream with a vegan salted caramel shake. Both were delicious. Was impressed with how creamy the vegan shake was, with a prominent salted caramel flavor and dairy free whip cream. The ube ice cream was equally as rich in flavor. The space is new and has a wonderful interior/exterior design. We were greeted by young and enthusiastic ice cream servers which kept the line moving nicely. Would definitely return.

A very cute and spanking ice cream shop in the vicinity, not to be missed. We tried the ube and honey lavender. Ube was spot on, had the right amount of ube morsels and a balanced ube flavor. The honey lavender was another hit. Both were phenomenal and we loved each spoon. The shop was run by very young people and they were well organized and moved the crowd pretty fast.

Very delicious ice cream and also a couple of unique flavors. Tried the pumpkin and mint chocolate chip, both incredible. We went two nights, the first night was given homemade chantilly whipped cream. The second night melted whipped cream from a spray can. Some confusion on the store hours. Online says store opens at 3pm. The sign out front said 'fall hours' and the store is open at 4pm, but on a Thursday they still weren't open after 5pm. Took a chance to go back again and they were open around 7pm. Guessing they are short-staffed as the place is new. A quaint place and a nice edition to Cape May. A very charming shop, we will be back.

A few friends recommended this place and a relative said it may have been the best ice cream they ever had. So five of us went for desert here after another great feast at Lucky Bones. I had the Lavender Bliss and it was sublime! Just the perfect blend of Vanilla and Lavender. Outstanding texture and taste! Everyone was delighted! They also have Gluten-free and Dairy free options. Kings is my new guilty pleasure place in Cape May!

Great ice cream flavors. Personally, I liked the cinnamon toast crunch in a cone. My only regret is that I didn't get the pretzel cone. Keep making fun flavors! I'll be back soon!

The employees were not too good at communication and specifying the various sizes to new customers. They showed us a very small cup and when we ordered the blended swirl ice cream off of the menu we were both given this massive ice cream that one would have been more than enough for us to share. It seems like there wasn't any specification because they wanted us to spend more than we should have. I wouldn't be going back.

Employees showed me a six ounce cup, but the swirl was in a 10 ounce smoothie bowl cup, oversized portions. It was good overall, but communication skills need to be improved on.

My family and I went to King's for some dessert and, I'm sorry, but unless you have a lot of money, it's not worth it. I had the Lavender Bliss, which was DELICIOUS; but, it was only offered in one size and it was huge. I don't need that much ice cream. I asked if I could just get a small cup - I would even pay the same price - but I was told, "No". My Great Nephew LOVES pumpkin ice cream. He was refused a child size cup. Why? They only offer child size in Vanilla or Chocolate - that's it. My husband had the Cookie Dough - he tossed it - too sweet. The girls behind the counter were nice enough, albeit like robots. No smiles - they could use some Customer Service skills. I know with the advent of boutique hotels, etc, Cape May has become more uppity and this ice cream parlor fits right in with that aesthetic. This ice cream shop is not for the Middle Class, sadly. I'll stick with Fine Fellows or Kohr Bros.
