What an amazing meal last night. We have been here many times before and some of the old standbys (the pate for example) remain excellent. The fois gras preparation was creative, visually attractive, and delicious. We both had duck, but different dishes and both thought they were among the best we've ever had. The cassoulet was moist, the beans plump and juicy. Not dry like they so often are. And the addition of some saffron was a great addition and really impacted the taste. The duck l'orange was amazing. The addition of a little bit of candied orange rind was brilliant and brought huge pops of orange flavor to a perfectly cooked duck breast. The vegetable of the day also deserves a mention. Perfect parsnip puree topped with perfectly roasted brussel sprouts. The apple tart for dessert was the right size to share. Light, buttery, and the caramel sauce was delicious. Our best meal yet here. We will be back!!

Right off the bat, the room we were placed in for our reservation was way too loud for a fine dining restaurant. You would expect such noise in a bar but not a restaurant like Maison Bleue. So it was hard to have a conversation, hard to hear the waitress. The service was good and the dinner was good, but the coffee was luke warm and not tasty. It was a shame as it was a birthday dinner for my wife and the experience in the restaurant was not satisfying . We had better experiences on previous reservations.

Delicious food, plenty of menu choices, prices are reasonable for quality of food, only thing that could be improved is noise level. There are bare floors and tall ceilings, voices were bouncing around and were quite lively. It didn't ruin our food, but we did agree when we left the restaurant that it was noisy in the dining room.

Excellent food once again and very cordial attentive service. One of the best restaurants in Cape May and we are locals...

Love the atmosphere and service was good. A little slow toward the end of the meal waiting for the check. Food was good but very expensive. Spent $200 before the tip and this is a BYOB so no alcohol on that check for 2 people. While I did enjoy the food I can get an equally good meal elsewhere at a better price. I don't mind paying for a great meal but when other places are equally as good and I can get more for less that's what I'll do.

Ate here two weeks in row when friends visited. Very authentic French Bistro food. Fluke meunière outstanding.

We were seated immediately even though numerous people were waiting- I assume without reservations. Service was very good and the food was very tasty

We absolutely adore this place! The decor is top-notch, creating a romantic ambiance. The service is excellent, and the food, though not extensive in its selections, is all delicious. I ordered the roast chicken, and my husband opted for the Wagyu burger. Both dishes were tender and juicy, exactly as we had hoped. If you haven’t tried this place yet, I highly recommend it.

By the way, if you do get there early, the outdoor porch is a great spot to sit and enjoy your wait time in style, and don’t let me forget to mention this place is BYOB.

Atmosphere great. Staff all friendly. The food was excellent. They made everything with a French flair. Different meal selections and use of ingredients than usual fare.

Maison Bleue Bistro! Ooo la la! This place brings French flair to the area, and it does not disappoint. Their Wagyu burger is phenomenal—honestly one of the best I’ve ever had. Just be ready for the $30 price tag… it’s French dining, so luxury comes with the territory.

The atmosphere is lovely, especially the patio. They’ll even fire up the heaters on chillier days, which makes it cozy and inviting. It’s also BYOB, so don’t forget to bring a bottle of wine (make it French, of course—we don’t want any Spanish or Italian sneaking in 😝).

Every dish we saw coming out looked like it was made with care. I’d highly recommend the truffle frites—they’re crisp, flavorful, and perfect when paired with a side of black garlic aioli. Reservations are a must, so plan ahead. A little slice of Paris without leaving town.

Honestly every dish is well cooked and seasoned so very delicious, but the duck confit we had as a special dish that day is next level!!! The waiters and waitresses are all super friendly, especially to our baby :)
