Decent food, a convenient option if you get hungry after being on the beach a day. Many pleasant childhood memories of eating pizza at this location. Great experience when combined with the fresh salt air.

I hadn't been home to NJ or the shore in over 20 years. We live and MD now and took a day trip up. I brought my husband and 12 and 13 year old daughters with me for a day at the beach. Of course we all had to have a slice and I could not have asked for a more authentic and wonderful pizza-on-the-boardwalk experience for them! They LOVED the pizza, best they have ever eaten! Excellent food and better service. Friendly and accommodating and COVID precautions in place. Thank you and we will see you next summer!

We placed an order online to Mike's through Slice at 9:33p on Sunday, Sep. 27, seeing on Google that Mike's closes at 10p, and thinking that if it was too late to place an online order we wouldn't be able to place the order. We were able to place the order, and then we got a text from Slice saying our order from Mike's would be ready from 10-10:10p. This confused us given that Google Maps says Mike's closes at 10p on that Sunday. We got to Mike's at 9:43p, but they were closed. Soon after we got an email from Slice saying that our order was cancelled and will be automatically refunded. Now the next day I visited Mike's website and see that they are closed for online after Labor Day. I did not check their website yesterday before placing my order. The order form should not be able to accept payment if they restaurant is closed for the season. I give two stars and not one because I could have realized by going to Mike's website that they were closed for online ordering, but still, the online form should have some sort of validation that simply checks, is it after labor day? If so, I won't receive orders.

This place does have the best pizza in Cape May, and I’ve thought that for a long time, but during this pandemic I have consistently seen the guy who makes the pizza without a mask or gloves both while he makes the food and as he interacts with customers. I’ve spoken to a lot of people who I know vacation down here and we’ve all avoided this place this summer for this reason. I will likely come back once the crisis is over, but I don’t feel safe eating here for now. It does make me wonder what precautions are taken for customer health and safety in normal circumstances if the bare minimum can’t be met during the worst health crisis in modern history. The pizza is great, though.

Mike’s Boardwalk Pizza has a new manager/pizza chef. They have the best pizza in Cape May. The sauce and dough is fantastic. They are very friendly and will customize their dishes. My family and I have been to this pizza location for 28 years and the pizza is always good, but it’s incredible.
