We were sat in the corner even though we had a reservation. The room was noisy, partially due to acoustics in combination with loud children. That said the food and service were good it just lacked the ambiance we were hoping for.
The apps and entrees were absolutely delicious but the service was the star of this establishment- very professional, friendly, and observant. Wine service was on point and by the book which is not easy to find these days.
Quintessential south jersey oyster bar. You have to sit at bar and meet people. Bonus: only place with parking.
$1 happy hour cape may oysters
Food and service was wonderful! Will definitely eat here again when in CM.
Great drinks and food!! A must!!
We went here Sunday evening and got a table at the bar area, the food was really delicious. Everything was cooked perfectly. Unfortunately the waitress we got was very unfriendly and inpatient and seemed in a bad mood from the get go no matter how nice we treated her.
Very happy about Gluten-free options!!
Oysters were local and perfect. Entrees also 10/10. Go to the bar for a more casual experience
Very pleasant experience. Food was excellent as well as the service. Great atmosphere.
We stopped in for dinner on the last Saturday of October. For whatever reason Cape May seemed busier than any time we have visited in the spring or summer. We enjoyed the local oysters on the half shell as well as the "premium" oysters from , Damariscotta, ME. Moving on to dinner we enjoyed the crispy duck breast and the Jambalaya. It was interesting to watch other dishes passing by as we saw many things worthy of a try on our next visit.
The cocktails were very, very good and they also has a fairly extensive selections of wines by the glass that were clearly above what one might expect at a tourist destination. Our waitress was also friendly, fast and efficient.
Perhaps the icing on the cake here was the availability of reasonably priced EV charging stations at the adjacent Cape May welcome center that backed up upon the restaurant. We were able to fully charge our PHEV at a rate of only $0.15/kWh which is less than we pay at home.
We would definitely go back!

We stopped for lunch on Sunday before driving home. Bar menu offers great choices and there’s a special football menu in season. We had the ahi tuna sandwich and bang bang shrimp salad. Great experience overall. No regrets.
The best ?
We have been vacationing in Cape May for many years. Needless to say there are some very good restaurants there, and then there’s Oyster Bay! We never have anything less than a wonderful meal there.
In our opinion, there’s no better place to go!

My boyfriend and I had a reservation At 6:00pm. Got seated right away. We did not see anything on the menu we liked. Ordered the fried calamari. It was horrible! The calamari was thin and over cooked. We couldn't even chew it. Sent it back, paid for a beer and left. The entrees are expensive, so check out the menu before you go.
