our meal was excellent. The Scallop and risotto appetizer was done to perfection. The Sirloin steak was prepared just as ordered. The service was excellent. The only complaint was the extreme noise level. Conversation at the table was difficult with all the background noise. We would recommend going after 7pm
My friends steak was cold . We we told them they took it back and when it came back again to the table, it still wasn't hot just a little warm, but my friend did not want to complain again.
Excellent food! Bartender was very nice & made excellent drinks! Appetizers, main course, & desserts were fabulous! Service was very attentive! We'll be back!
New restaurant and kitchen management have been in place now for approximately three years, and the new kitchen product was Outstanding to my tastebuds. Highly recommended.
Went for restaurant week not expecting to much and were happily surprised by a fantastic meal and great bartender. Food was excellent Mark at the bar pours a nice cocktail and the wine choices although limited were fantastic. We will be back to enjoy again!
This is not our first dinner at Sea Salt. I believe they have a chef now from Washington Inn. Four of us attended dinner during Restaurant week, and each of us agreed the food was outstanding, the portions were more than satisfying, the desserts were delicious and the service was impeccable.
This was our first time at Sea Salt. We went there because of Restaurant week. The four of us were pleasantly surprised. It was a wonderful dining experience. We will be back.
The over all experience and atmosphere was good. The main course for both our entrees were just ok. Every this was actually awesome.
Service was wonderful. Food was delicious. All staff were friendly. But the best part of the experience was the piano player, Mike Margarite! He had everyone engaged and took requests and made the whole night fun.
Service was above par with food to match. It was nice to have such a lovely restaurant in the hotel we are staying at.

First time here for dinner, our server was very nice and attentive. She helped with our menu and drinks. We tried the pear gimlet, it was delicious. I had crab cakes, and my husband had short ribs. My dinner was very good, and the au gratin potatoes were excellent. My husband enjoyed his also. We had lava cake for dessert, also good. We had a very nice time and will go back.
The food was very good. Not excellent. The band is very loud though it seems to have a following at the bar and is pretty good. Prices were completely fair and wine affordable. The vibe is not as precious as when it opened a few years ago which is a good thing. Service was indifferent at best. Plenty of help but aside from the busboy hardly paid attention.
Food was good enough but temperature wise lukewarm. They had music playing (loud trumpet player) and it was so loud we had to eat outside. This turned out to be a better spot anyway. Overall the decor reminded of typical cold ambiance of hotel dining. I probably would not go back considering all the other great romantic places in cape May but we had limited choices making last minute reservations. It had more of a club-like urban vibe than your typical Cape May establishments.
My friend and I enjoyed our dinner very much. The good, service, and ambience were excellent.
First time here and the food, drinks and service was outstanding. We had the swordfish and branzino specials and it had terrific flavor and freshness. Our waitress Dona was very friendly and attentive. We will be back!
