Delicious dinner as always! One of our favorites! Can't wait until we can sit outside again.

Having eaten at Secundo several times before, I expected good food and service. As usual, they delivered. Sadly, the experience completely fell apart due to the excessive noise level. Normal conversation was impossible. At times, it was almost painful. I would hesitate to return as it ruined what should have been a great meal.

Our server Tatia was terrific . The crispy salmon and seafood spaghetti was delicious! Love the food.

Very uncomfortable. Bar seats have no back. Dining room seats are hard chairs. Food just ok. Its not beautiful in there. Looks like a cafeteria. I don't want to go back. Waiter Tom was excellent.

My party and I were at Secondo on Easter Sunday. One member of the party ordered an ice tea. When she lifted the glass the bottom of the glass broke right off spilling all the tea over her cream blouse and slacks. The server got some towels for her and apologized but nothing more was done to show his concern for the diner. We were very disappointed that no consideration was offered for her. We will not be returning to Secondo and would not recommend it to others.

Amelia was an excellent waitress. Impressive that she knew all the many specials. She was attentive and pleasant.

Food was below expectations. I got the lobster trio. Lobster was tuff, lobster cake had no flavor & the 2 ravioli were cold. My husband had the spicy crab pasta & it was not good. Overall the food was just not great. Disappointed as I selected this spot for our anniversary dinner. Not sure id try again.

Secondo was amazing as always. It was a little loud in bar area with DJ music but it was girls night so understood! I do prefer the live music you often have more!!!

The low rating is only because they charge fresh seafood and homemade pasta prices while providing neither. Seriously, you can get food at the same prices in New Jersey homemade and fresh, not frozen thawed seafood and boxed pasta. You can tell they know how to cook. The sauce was great (presumably out of a can and then doctored) and the food was still decent. So put those cooking skills to work and make your own food. Except for the Greek Salad. WTF is that? Take it off the menu, no one likes a pile of raw green peppers and big raw onion slices. That's NOT Greek Salad (neither in the US and definitely not in Greece). For comparison, this place reminded me of Sea Isle and probably all the shore restaurants. It's overpriced resort town food. They count on you being in a good mood and pretending that you're not overpaying. Also, this is NOT BYOB, they serve booze, so that's not offsetting your bill at all. But to their credit one of their house Portuguese reds is $10/glass and it's fantastic. The drinks overall are not overpriced in the grand scheme of things. It's a charming space, but it's Jersey so there will be a loud table or 3, and sound travels here. Lastly, pro-tip: There is an EXTENSIVE list of specials on a chalkboard when you walk in. Our server actually memorized it. Take a photo, way easier.

MY FIRST TIME DINING EXPERIENCE AT THIS ESTABLISHMENT AND MY LAST!!! CHRISTMAS EVE PARTY OF 6 --SET MENU.. RAN OUT OF FOOD.. A DISGRACE TO THE RESTAURANT CLUB. ALSO NOT ENOUGH HELP OR SOME ONE DOES NOT KNOW HOW TO ORDER THE CORRECT AMOUNT OF FOOD NEEDED TO COVER YOUR RESERVATIONS. WE WILL SUBSTITUTE!! OMG A TOTAL MESS ..AND AT $75.00 PP FOR CHICKEN PARM EVERYWHERE ELSE THE MOST 35$ DISGRACE A TOTAL RIP OFF..WAITED 1 HOUR FOR THEM TO TAKE A DRINK ORDER...ASKED FOR BREAD 3 TIMES NEVER GOT IT. THE PORK CHOP DRY TOOK IT HOME FOR THE DOG.. SUBSTITUTE APPS BEING THROWN AT US..BECAUSE THEY RAN OUT OF THE ORIGINAL.. IGNORED BY THE WAITER AS HE RAN AROUND LIKE A CHICKEN WITHOUT A HEAD.. RUINED THE HAPPY NIGHT IT WAS SUPPOSE TO BE AND WE WERE NOT THE ONLY DINERS DISSATIFIED. AT $600.00 WITH TIP I COULDN'T WAIT TO GET OUT OF THERE. THE BEST THING WAS THE DECORATIONS --TOO BAD THEY DIDN'T PUT THAT MUCH EFFORT IN SERVING THEIR DINING GUESTS AS THEY DID IN DECORATIONG. I SUGGEST, NEXT YEAR, YOU STAY CLOSED ON CHRISTMAS EVE. AND STOP RUINING PEOPLE'S HOLIDAYS.

Waiter forgot about us after he gave us the dessert menu. We didn’t want dessert but he never came back. Because he couldn’t really speak he kind of threw the menus at us. I had to stand up when I saw him just talking to the other waiter. Will think hard about going back.

I will start by saying we come here often. We enjoy the live music and food. However this is the second time we have had bad service, so I felt compelled to write a review. We were seated 30 mins after check in, which was fine. We sat at the bar and had drinks, no big deal. We sat at 8:03 pm and no one came over to us. At 8:32 we finally told the hostesss that we didn’t have water or bread yet. Ok, we understand, it was busy. Someone did come over right away and we put our entire order in since we knew everything we wanted. We were served bread and water. At this point it is now 9:05 and we still did not have our drinks, yet we saw them sitting on the outside bar. My husband went over and asked if we could just take them since we had been waiting. There was an extremely rude bartender, an older gentleman with salt and pepper hair and a beard and wore his glasses on his head. My husband said could we please take our drinks we’ve been waiting 30 mins. The rude bartender said with an attitude “it hasn’t been 30 mins!” so my husband just said ok and wasn’t going to argue. However we’ve watched our phone the entire time to see the time before going over. Very disappointed to write this review. The night went on to bringing out the wrong appetizer, ok things happen and it was fixed. We were more upset about the ignorant bartender and his attitude.

This was only our second visit and once again, it did not disappoint! We ended up bagging our table reservation and just eating at the bar. Jodie was absolutely a fun and delightful bartender! The extra dirty martinis were perfection! Our food was divine. We got some grilled and some raw oysters. I had a veal dish and my hubs had “Sunday dinner”. Then to top it off we shared a coconut dessert. The food, atmosphere, patrons and special kudos to the entire staff- for making my Friday, 13th birthday- Absolutely PERFECT.
