We had a wonderful dinner as always! The food was outstanding and our server Dana was wonderful. Never a disappointment when dining at any of the Kara restaurants.
George and team did a fantastic job with their New Year's Eve menu. We had a great time and appreciate the effort and attention to detail they all put in. Service was great as well and both servers did a very good job managing all of the tables. Highly recommended!

False advertising at its BEST!!! Please take the filter feature off the food pictures on your website. Unfortunately Shamone BYOB is trying to pass itself off as a legitimate culinary experience when you could have bought 6 pre-made frozen meals at Aldi and been VERY Deliciously satisfied for 1/10th the price. All however was not a fail!!! The highlights were an exceptional tempura fried croquette and an above average scallop & salmon small dish with a fun relaxing musical vibe atmosphere that kept you wanting to refill your glass. There was an obvious lack of “named” ingredients in the dish (Ham Croquette, still looking for that ham) and overuse of three of the 11 (not 15) courses of under-flavored “potatoes” but the steak was well prepared, cooked & quite good. Chicken and pork though are a pass and you might want to consider the vegetarian route as it appears a standard salt/sugar brine for restaurant meat is not a standard in their meal preparations. The last holdout to save the meal unfortunately also came up short. Suggestions of a tantalizing dessert turned into my son's 6th grade home economics recipe of half an apple and a spoonful of oatmeal in a mini cast iron skillet along with cold cappuccino or espresso that you don't know you are paying extra for until the bill comes. I kept trying to find the positive and left myself open for the ”WOW” but it just never came. I truly loved the concept of the restaurant and the potential that it offers and with a focused approach toward the meal, rather than the wait staff trying to sell the meal, it has the opportunity to turn the page from a traditional dining experience to an extraordinary one. In summary the meal that was offered to a paying customer on a weekend evening in the height of a Christmas season came across more as a tourist grab than a Pasto Di Tapas a 5 Stelle but potentials are endless and with some very simple tweaks so may be the flavors and future of Shamone.
This was a weird one. Heard good things.
They were nice staff. But whoa. It’s like ChatGPT was asked to create a multi course tasting menu. Things were half baked and not well thought out.

We love it here! Such a fun and unique experience. The food is fabulous! The atmosphere is such a good vibe. The music , the service and the presentation is just incredible.
What an amazing dining experience! The ambience, the 15 course menu was delightful. Highly recommend.

Best enjoyed as a couple's experience (not for groups or kids). Interesting twists since you never know what the next small plate is. 15 plates is more than enough for dinner.
Excellent brunch experience at Shamone after 1/2 marathon. Perfect food experience, mixers for byob cocktails and the owner was friendly and hospitable. Will be back to try dinner!

Perhaps our 8th or 10th visit and each meal is a party, and a surprise. Great, interesting food! Each bite better than the next. Last nights stars, the beer cheese soup, butternut squash ravioli with bacon cream, and beer braised bratwurst with cabbage and roasted potatoes. Although the other 9 bites were wonderful too. It's amazing to watch George and Hector do their kitchen ballet, and it's a study in great service watching Tanya in action. Can't wait to go back!
This was our second visit to Shamone in six months. Their menu changes regularly, so we were happy to go back and try new courses. Music is great - rock, funk, and R&B from the 60s to present day. This is a unique experience and not for everyone - the music is loud, everyone gets the 15-course menu (and there are no take-out boxes), and there is only one seating. But if you are an adventurous eater and want to experience a fun, creative fine dining experience, we highly recommend Shamone!
We did Shamone years ago and it was amazing. It was a whole experience of interesting cuisine where you felt like the chief really got to be creative he also came out and talked to everyone. This time it was so loud you couldn't hear what they were serving and nothing was that great it felt like random items that you could get from anywhere. A buffalo flatbread that felt like a bad slice of buffalo chicken pizza, a puff pastry that felt like it was taken out of a premade package. It's a great concept but it's not what it used to be. It's such a great opportunity for a chief to have fun with things and make exotic food but it was the opposite of that.
Just want to preface by saying this is the first review I have ever written…
Do not go here… I can’t say enough bad things about this place. From start to finish it was the weirdest thing I’ve ever been apart of. The atmosphere is really weird and makes no sense, never mind the loud music and low lighting but all mismatched chairs that are different heights, odd posters on the wall and a Twilight Zone themed bathroom with the show playing really loud and toilet paper nailed to the wall? All the windows have black out curtains and another curtain hanging in between the dining area and the “foyer”… just an intensely weird atmosphere that made us feel uneasy. So confusing and disorienting. Some of the food was obviously frozen, most was clearly store bought with some courses being soggy arugula and dressing on a plate. Genuinely shocked at how terrible every single thing was. I still think we might have been on a prank show or something. I can not stress this enough… SO BAD. SO ODD. NOT GOOD AT ALL. Go anywhere else and I guarantee it will be better. The only good thing is that it was so terrible that my wife and I are laughing about it. As far as the 5 star reviews? I think they must be bots or something. Based on our experience there is no way on earth anyone has ever enjoyed a meal here.

A great experience and well worth the price: a dozen courses(most ranged from good to great, only 1 salad we didn't care for) plus great service and great vibes, unpretentious but intimate setting.
