Long lines but really worth it

Good , but does NOT justify to stand in line for an hour before opening.

Worth the drive and the wait! Get on line early for the best selection.

This is a gem that needs to be timed just right! Locally made breads from the wood stove is amazing. Not to mention the veggies they sell from the gardens. Check their Instagram for what days they are open as google isn’t always right. If they open at 10am get there at 8am to avoid standing in lines for ever or them running out.

The Bread Lady is amazing!!!In today's America when we all are addicted to immediate gratification, having something of quality that requires you as a customer to wait and potentially still not getting exactly what you want, in my estimation is an exercise in virtue. Something we are desperate need of.See The Bread Lady has "pop-ups". These are the one or two times a week she sells her baked goods and her wonderful produce. She notifies everyone via Facebook (unfortunately, b/c it's Facebook) that morning. When you get there a line has most likely already formed. You queue up. Depending how many people are ahead of you and how much of any one variety she made, your favorite bread may be already be sold out when you get to the front. Luckily everything is great.Even if you get nothing, you get something, a pleasant experience with your fellow humans and an opportunity to be an adult and not have a tantrum if you don't get your way.You may say, "well, why can't she just do more pop-ups or make more bread?!"Because, this is labor (of love) intensive work. What makes it so good (the hand-crafted, clay oven, fresh same day) will be destroyed if you get too big.Plus this is a family operation which also runs a farm! And they more than deserve a life!So enjoy this lovely experience of Cape May! Bring your good manners and fellowship to the line! And enjoy!

A beautiful stand. I love the bread, but it is not priced high enough. It is in such high demand that when I arrived an hour and a half early I still was 10th in line. Demand is high, increase you supply, or increase your prices.
