I don't even know where to start first time here it got good reviews so I decided to try it it's in the middle of nowhere and when u walk through the door there is this smell in the I would say waiting area I went here there was a guy who didn't understand English because he thought I was picking up a door dash order told him I was dining in he once again ask me if I was picking up a door dash order I said no the place isn't very big there is one guy who gets your drinks and a woman who takes your order it was me and three other tables which had two at each table the one waitress they had took care of all four tables she brought me my food the guy brought me my drink I got the mini meal Turkey with cranberry sauce two sides and rolls I got a side salad and half of it was bad I got one dinner roll with four small butter then my meal came the turkey was good the coleslaw was gross the sweet potato which had some weird glaze on it was hard outside soft inside the glaze was gross I was done that's when I see my waitress after for a check and a box went to the three tables to see if they needed anything how was everything to me just kept walking pass me with out a word the lady's room has this really bad smell the whole diner does maybe it was me but the smell when you open the door lingers maybe during the day is better they are open 24/7 with one person waiting on everyone good thing they weren't busy

My gosh, this place is fantastic. Great little diner down the road from flying j where I was staying for the night. Visited 8/26/24, 10:30pm. The gentleman who greeted me upon entering was very welcoming. The lady who served me was just as welcoming, helpful and a pleasure to work with. I ordered the chicken quesadilla with fries per the gentleman’s suggestion, and some mozzarella sticks and a Pepsi. The portions are great big fat guy approved, and the food was excellent! The fries were crispy and delicious, the quesadilla was full and tasty, they gave me 3 sour cream cups which was plenty for what I ordered, the soda was great, the mozzarella sticks were great and came with plenty of marinara. I cleaned it all up happily, and to get the full diner experience I ordered a slice of Boston cream pie. The pie was the best desert i have ever eaten in my entire life. It was cold and moist, and very flavorful.. I will be talking about that pie until the end of my days. Wonderful diner atmosphere, phenomenal service, and excellent food. My spirits were lifted exponentially from having a late dinner here after a long day of traveling in NJ traffic.
I live 7 hours away, but I WILL return next year when I’m on the road again.

Give the restaurant 5 stars but for the parking for truckdrivers it sucks. The locals have took what few spots the have. I don't understand how the let the locals take over there parking spots .I don't even bother trying to go there anymore. Sad because it is a nice restaurant. Truckers be ready to be disgusted with the parking. The locals need a spot to change there oil and overhaul the trucks in a parking spot.

Came over to Jersey for a visit, decided to stop at the diner for, "the old times." WOW, What a disappointment. The 1st booth we sat down at we noticed there was a lot of gnats and flies. Then we heard the ladies in the booth in front of us complain to the waitress about the flies and gnats and asked to move. We peeped over the seat and their were everywhere. We should of left but know, we went to the other side. As we are setting there we noticed flies and gnats again, just not as many. Food comes,burgers and fries. I was given 2 bottom buns my friend was given to top buns. End up talking the burger off the bun to eat it. My friend actually got Mac& Cheese, it was horrible like eating hospital food, no seasoning what so ever. The burgers were just as unsavory and dry. Never again. The service was good, the food horrible. The atmosphere equally as horrible.

I was recently on the line. The phone line… and I asked this woman to repeat what was on the menu and she told me to go **** myself. I must apologize, I have very bad ears. Rudeness is taught. Please fix your anger. I must also add that she hung up on me. Very disrespectful. I got onto the line once more and the lady was very nice. Food is amazing.

My husband and I ate there for the first time. It was an early dinner on a weekday. Service was good, everyone was very pleasant. We were the only patrons in the restaurant. Menu had a decent, large selection that we were happy with. However, the table could have been cleaner and there were flying insects (not house flies, but some other insect). My husband also found a fly at the bottom of his iced tea. Some of the food had odd flavorings and/or was cooked differently than we are used to. While we did not complain to anyone in the diner about any part of our experience or express our concerns, we will not be returning.
