Excellent food service and atmospheric for a fair price. The buffet and the hibachi wee very flavorful. Perfect for families and conveniently located across from the Tesla chargers. BYOB with liquor store next door.
Food was tasty. Service was the best I ever had in this style of restaurant.
Came for lunch on a weekday and it didn’t disappoint. The sushi and hot foods were good, but the star is the Mongolian grill. The food was hot, freshly made, and delicious. There was a variety of sauces to use and combine. I did add a scoop less than what was recommended on the sauce recipes because the sauces had a tendency to settle on the bottom of the plate and become saltier than I liked. Mongolian&Sushi is a restaurant nestled next to ShopRite in Carteret, easy to get to from Rte 1 or the NJ Tpk with free parking. It is a great venue for gatherings, offering Mongolian bbq and sushi. The staff is attentive, very welcoming, friendly, and accommodating, walking guests through the process and providing fast service. The food is amazing, phenomenal, fresh, delicious, affordable, and tasteful, with unique flavor profiles. Lunch is very affordable and delicious at 13.99 per person and comes with a choice of ice cream.
Guests can pick their entire dish from various options, including a section for appetizers, sushi, fruits, salad, and sauces with recommended combinations. It is then cooked on a hot stone grill. While it may lack in visual ambiance, it makes up for it in taste, flavor, and options. The ice tea with boba is really good, though on the sweeter side. The setting is appropriate in every way, making it a place where many foresee future visits and returns for celebrations.
