I've been visiting Taste of Asia for over 20 years, with varying frequency when we moved out of State, but could always rely on their food authenticity and quality. In a recent visit for lunch I was quite disappointed after having ordered the char quay teow, a Malaysian flat noodle dish. The noodles were not flat noodles (instead were regular thin noodles) and should not have been substituted, especially for those who can tell the difference (even the description mentions...
Another great dinner at this lovely spot last night. The four of us ordered lots of different dishes, and every one of them was a winner. Plus, the owners and staff are so warm and helpful. Can't wait to go back!
Order takeout [Nasi Lemak]. The taste was ok, definitely not authentic. The portion was generous.
But it tastes much better than Penang [Malaysian Restaurant] in Eash Hanover.
The tall guy was super friendly & professional.
