Located 6 minutes from the neighborhood, The Nugget Spot is a hidden gem for fried chicken. The chicken is juicy and tender, the coating crispy and flavourful. The absolute best grilled chicken sandwich ever was noted, and the nuggets and fries were excellent with portion sizes much larger than expected. The Captain nuggets were incredible, not as sweet as expected with enough salt to cut the sweetness. Dipping sauces are amazing, including nacho cheese. For a full meal, the burnt broccoli is delicious. The hospitality makes customers feel at home, with creative ideas like pretzel battered nugs, cinnamon toast crunch battered nugs, and turkey nugs for Thanksgiving. The food comes out within 10 minutes, and while there is enough seating, the bulk of the business seems to be to go. Staff are wonderful and friendly, with great recommendations. This is one of the best spots in New Jersey, bringing creative and refreshing ideas to the plate.
