Have been going for over 33 years now. First time there was when I first started dating my wife. It was her local deli/sandwich shop. Although we have moved to Sicklerville area years ago. We still travel up to cherry hill to get their sandwich. Well worth the trip love the bread they use
I recently visited Chicks after seeing it on the list of best cheesesteaks. I figured that I would give it a try as it was ranked up there towards the top. To be 100% honest, I really don't see how it's even on the list at all. Its nowhere near at the top of my list in NJ and I haven't even been to many of the heavy hitters yet. I'm not bashing the place whatsoever, but it definitely wasn't anything to write home about. Not packed like I thought it would...
For an Out Of Towner, this was a bit of a challenge to find. But once we located we were All-In.
This is a fairly standard issue Dine and Dash setup. Nothing fancy but if you're looking for fancy, you're in the WRONG NEIGHBORHOOD.
The lady at the counter who took my order was nice enough but you could read she was a "Take No Shit" type of person. Overall pleasant personality, all the same.
Now, despite the seemingly questionable neighborhood...
