I would recommend looking elsewhere for your baked goods. As a newcomer to the area, I've visited this bakery a few times, but each experience has been marred by the rude demeanor of the older woman who runs the place. Initially, I thought her behavior might be due to a bad day, but it has become clear that this is a consistent pattern. Most recently, I placed an order for pickup Sunday, 3/23. It seemed the young employee who took my order may have mistakenly recorded the wrong date out of nervousness, likely due to the unpleasant atmosphere created by the manager. Throughout the ordering process, her attitude was unwelcoming and hostile. To make matters worse, I received a nasty voicemail on Saturday, 3/22, instructing me not to return, despite the mix-up being entirely unintentional. This experience has solidified my decision not to support this business any longer, and I will be sharing my experience with others in the community. It's disappointing to encounter such poor customer service, especially in a bakery where kindness should be part of the recipe.

Very Disappointed – Not the Bakery It Used to Be
My family has been coming to Gallo’s Bakery for years, but it’s clear they’re no longer the same as they were a decade ago. I recently picked up a cake I ordered days in advance, and it was completely wrong. I specifically asked for an all-white cake with black writing—simple enough. Instead, I received a cake with green decorations and dark green writing.
When I called to explain the issue, I was told I had ordered a “standard cake with flowers,” which is false. I requested no green flowers, no leaves—just an all-white cake with black lettering. I even emailed a photo as requested, and someone called me back saying the writing was green because “that’s how the dye mixes.” I’ve ordered enough cakes in my life to know black dye exists.
To make matters worse, I was told I could just return the cake if I didn’t like it. How is that helpful when the party starts in an hour? The lack of accountability and unwillingness to make things right is disappointing. They didn’t offer a solution or seem to care.
I wish I could give less than one star. We won’t be returning.

This review is of donuts only — I haven’t tried anything else. The donuts were good. Soft. We ordered vanilla cream, jelly, boston cream, and chocolate frosted. The jelly was clumpy, not super smooth - cherry I think. Good. Not my favorite donuts in the area, and not a great selection.
Ordered some donuts and Ann was there with a cashier. I asked a question and the cashier asked Ann. Ann went off on the girl in front of me for asking her a question. It was pretty ghetto and disrespectful. Complete lack of professionalism and humbleness in Ann’s part. Owner said he would call me but never did. Donuts were just ok.

As someone who suffers with severe allergies, finding a bakery that is accommodating can be tricky. I was able to enjoy a wonderful cake made by individuals who truly care about their customers. Also, the best buttercream icing i’ve ever had!!
