About Jjang Ga Nae Korean Restaurant

Jjang Ga Nae Korean Restaurant is a hidden gem in South Jersey, offering authentic Korean-Chinese dishes. This cozy, local dining spot serves fresh, delicious specialties like tangsuyuk (sweet and sour fried pork) and jjajangmyeon (black bean noodles), as well as fresh kimchi for takeout. Customers praise the generous portions, amazing flavors, and friendly staff. The restaurant is located next to a nail shop in a small plaza, making it easy to miss. Though the sign looks a bit worn, it adds to the charm of the place.

Known for its comforting dishes, the restaurant offers flavorful entrees like LA Galbi and Seafood Jjambbong. Many customers find the cold beef noodles delicate and reminiscent of home-cooked meals. Reviewers mention that the food is consistently good and reasonably priced. While service may be slow at times, often because only one person runs the place, the quality of the food makes waiting worthwhile. Customers often come back for the delicious meal, including dishes like jjajangmyeon, tangsuyuk, and kkangpoong ki, and appreciate the friendly service. Some wish there was a picture menu to help with translations, but overall, the experience is enjoyable, and the food is homemade and flavorful.

Good local home cooked goodness. JJanjangmyun - yum...
If you’re looking for Korean food, stop looking. This is the place to go. You will NOT be disappointed. The spice level is off the charts. I was the only white girl in the whole building. 5 stars will come again.
I don't care what anyone says. 🤷 That new fancy Hmart in town is mid at best on some Korean dishes. This place still has the best gan jjajangmyeon (black bean noodles). Support your locals. This place is a hidden gem.
