The cashier and server is an old lady who barely speaks English. And she charged me twice cash and my debit card. She claimed that my debit card was not working but it did. I had a very hard time communicating with this lady. They should put somebody serving and cash registering who speaks English or at least can communicate well with their paying customers!

I don't come for the atmosphere and etc, but for the food. Jjajangmyeon, tang soo yook, and kkang poong ki are what stands out from this place. Eaten at various cities such as manhattan, philly, la, and etc; however this place tops the list for me.

The food was good, but the service was bad. I saw the lady put her hand in other customers food and then serve it to them. It was also very difficult to communicate with her as I thought at one point she asked me to grab the food from the back. I also believe that she wouldn’t let me order what I wanted as I wanted combination tofu soup. We asked for seafood but there was not seafood and tasted heavily of beef flavor. I really hope that the health department comes to evaluate this restaurant.

So good— what a meal! I’m fairly unfamiliar with Korean food but the lovely woman running the place let me show her some photos from other reviewers on my phone. Flavorful, filling and homemade, this is a must-try.
I’m not sure what all the cold appetizers were that came when we ordered the fried pork dumplings (which were SO GOOD) but there was defitnely kimchi, pickled radish, onion, pickled cucumber, and potatoes that I’m still dreaming about.
We ordered pork bulgogi which was a skillet of hot and flavorful beef with sautéed onions and peppers. We also got the chajangmyun which is the dish that looks like spaghetti in dark sauce. It has delicately cooked ribs and diced veggies. Both were truly delicious. I can’t wait to try more Korean food!

Came here for the very first time today. Yes it feels like you’re eating at a grandma’s house, with the expectation of getting a warm feeling and cozy meal from a nice grandma. I was by myself. A little while after I arrived, there were two men that came. I ordered before them and waited for about 20 mins, however, the men’s food and side dishes were given to them first, whereas I had not been given anything even though I arrived first. When my food finally came, I quickly finished one of the side dishes, as I was hungry and had waited a long time. When I asked for one more of the side dish (the one with the salty fish, on the top right of the picture), she lied about it and would not give more. She said, “No more today. No more of that. You finished it.” When I wanted to wash my hands, apparently someone was in the restroom, so this grandma directed me to use the sink outside of the restroom. Right across from the sink was a whole (more than half-filled) batch of the side dish that I asked for. When I said, “oh you have some,” she said, “oh they just made it, they just made it. No more for you.” So….. it was not a nice feeling to be lied to, to feel like you’re not deserving of just a side dish. This restaurant definitely just lost at least one customer. There are other establishments with just as good food if not better that would give what the customer asks for, not lie to a customer, especially when it’s just about one side dish. I would not recommend this restaurant.

Love this place. Very authentic Korean food, tastes great and price is not bad. I have been here a few times (typically on my way home from work around 6-7pm) and service is always very fast, with you waiting only a fraction of the time you have to wait at other restaurants.

Very mediocre jajangmyeon and korean pancake. The menu is pretty limited as well. The owner barely speaks any English so it was a bit hard to communicate.

I ordered the LA Galbi and Seafood Jjambbong. The flavors were good. I enjoyed the Korean food, and the parking situation wasn’t too bad. The wait can be a little long when it gets busier.
