Megu Sushi & Hibachi

this place was phenomenal. best service and food ive had from a hibachi. Our host, who i didn’t catch her name unfortunately, was amazing. She sung me happy birthday and even brought me a coconut drink. She talked about her home town, pink island indonesia, which fascinated us all. I couldn’t of asked for a better host. Our food was also amazing and very good. The sushi and hibachi is 100% worth it.

We got there I guess 45 minutes before they close. They make us feel not welcome and in a hurry. I understand you want to go home! Well, close your door before your closing time . We are not mind readers. We did finish our meal on time. Moral of the story, the wrong attitude will hurt you most of the time. This happened more than a year ago. I never had the chance to write a review.

I ordered a chicken hibachi and a steak hibachi for takeout. The sauce was good, the steak was great, and the rice and vegetables were fine, but the majority of the chicken pieces were *incredibly* overcooked to the point that they were hard and difficult to chew. I expected better for the price, especially given that this place is pricier than comparable, nearby hibachi restaurants.

We were a party of 8 with 6 adults and 2 young children. The hibachi show was both entertaining, delicious with large portions! Our young grandchildren were amused and well fed. My husband’s birthday was celebrated with his favorite chocolate mousse cake and a large sparkler to complete the festivities! It was an enjoyable dinner for all!

Originally would’ve gave this place 4-5 stars. DO NOT ASK US FOR AN ADDITIONAL TIP!! We ate a late dinner (9:30p) coming from a military conference nearby. Husband and I were the only 2 in the restaurant besides the staff. Our food was hot and delivered quickly. Overall sushi selection was ok in our opinion nothing to rave about. We ended our meal and paid the tab $120+ in cash and left a tip based on all the previous mentioned factors. to each his own on your $$$ amount. On the way out we were asked by our waiter if we knew the tip wasn’t included in the total. I said yes and let him know I gave him over the bill amount. I’m not a fan of tips being ASKED for by any establishment because anything over the total price is extra and should be seen as that. We do not plan to return.

My first and last time coming here.. it was a nice experience as far as the person cooking in front if us..
But the price you pay for a combination for the hibachi absolutely not worth it plus the taste and quality of the food was not that great... all the money you pay for steak and chicken and they only give you half of a vrry tough steak that's supposedly N.Y Strip steak and half of a piece of chicken breast's the price they charge is absolutely insane also bland food ... the photo I posted was what they consider a combination hibachi with chicken and steak 32.95 NEVER AGAIN...and the manager was not too friendly... the salad was also basically just plain lettuce with a bland ginger dressing...
DON'T LET THE LIES FOOL YOU FROM THE PERSON WHO REPLIED BELOW LOL... this picture was taken right after my food was plated and I'm sure it's the rude manager who replied who argued with me and admitted you only get half of a small steak...and 50.00 was not taken off lol should I post a picture of the receipt? Sad you get on here lying as a place of business that makes you look foolish ... and I don't see you improving TOUGH cheap steak you are claiming is N.Y STRIP LOL...and unseasoned bland chicken and disgusting salad

I very much enjoyed this hibachi experience. The chef was very good. He made everything perfect! I myself got fillet mignon and he made it exactly the way that I asked. The reason I put 4 out of 5 stars is because my experiences with other hibachi restaurants you get soup and a salad but at this particular one you get a choice of a soup or a salad, which I thought was a bit strange but other than that, the food was delicious and seasoned very well. I liked the decor. The one other thing is that every time I tried to find a server. No one was really around. They were more in the front where all of the regular table dining was. But still, my experience was very well.

Parking: The way that the GPS told me to go had me park on the opposite side of where the actual restaurant was. I just had to walk through the middle of the plaza, which is fine. They have steps and wheelchair ramps for accessibility, but it was a little bit of a walk to get to it, which I didn't mind.
