El Monte Coffee in Chester was an alernative to a line stretching seemingly to South America at the opening of the VNA Rummage Sale in Far Hills, and it was a good discovery: empanadas, even, in addition to non-standard baked goods and an oatmilk cortado in a ceramic cup, so it doesn't taste like cardboard.

I order an empanada the lady ask me if wanted te empanada to be heated I said yes but when I get the empanada it was cold inside like they took it out of the fridge so that means the empanada was old and for 3.50 the size of it no no

I really wanted to like this place but the multiple times I’ve come my drinks have been made inconsistently🥲 the staff is super friendly though and very welcoming but unfortunately I’m not to fond on their drinks, bakery items are pretty good I definitely recommend their food!

All of the coffee & treats are always delicious. They always have fun monthly specials too. Not only that, but everyone that works here is beyond friendly and welcoming, remembering names & orders, and no matter how busy they take the time to connect. Their beans are also the best we’ve tried!
