“This place was picked as a middle ground between us and our daughter. When we pulled up we kinda didn't think it was for real, but when we got inside it was an immediate flashback to 1965. Quaint and beautiful for a small place that most likely has a large following with the locals. It was comfort food all the way. Friendly service and the chef has been there for 45+ years! Talk about old school! Go and find it!”

“The place is open every day until 9pm. It has decent food. The cheese pizza was pretty good but the buffalo chicken pizza is a pass. Also there is a different price for cash versus card. Two slices of pizza and a drink were $10.”

“Playa bowls is my special treat to myself especially on a hot humid unforgiving day. I recommend a classic Pura Vida Acai bowl. The staff are friendly and attentive. This location is easily accessible and has plenty of parking. Clean and fun vibe inside.”

“PEANUT ALLERGY FAMILY!! Let me start off by saying I love love loved the ice cream here from day 1. The staff is wonderful and super attentive, but last night was above and beyond. I went for dessert with my oldest son and wanted to bring some back for my 8 month old to share with me. We just discovered my 8 month old has a peanut allergy and we aren’t sure what other nuts he might be allergic to yet. I told the staff all of this. The gentleman who made my order went ABOVE AND BEYOND to make sure that ice cream was safe to share with him (of course I know there are no guarantees when you are eating out). I can’t tell you how much that meant to me since allergies like this are new to my family and I. I cannot thank them enough!! They gained a customer for life.”

“Ho Ho Kitchen is a staple of Chester, NJ. I'm beyond grateful that it's still active and flavorfully on point. I've been coming here since I was a kid, back when that fancy gym next door was a movie theater. If you're craving classic Chinese-American food, look no further. My best friend swears by their fried dumplings. My parents swear by the chicken and broccoli and vegetable lo mein. I personally crave more authentic Chinese flavors, so I'm an advocate of all the Szechuan and Mandarin dishes. Support your local mom and pop shops, guys. Panda Express cannot compete with this goodness.”

“This place was small and cozy but beautiful, with all the walls covered in Marilyn Monroe-inspired artwork. Keep in mind that this café only accepts cash. There's an ATM at a pizza place next door, though the fee is $6. As for drink options, they don’t offer fresh-squeezed juices or smoothies, which was disappointing, but they do have typical sodas, bottled juice, tea, and coffee. The home fries and sausage were delicious and highly recommended. The pancakes were decent, though I wish they were fluffier. I asked for scrambled eggs, but they looked more like an omelette and needed more salt.

Please note that this café is not wheelchair-friendly. The tables are very close together, and the aisles are not wide enough for a wheelchair to pass through to the bathroom. The bathroom itself is very small; when using the toilet, you touch the wall, which can be uncomfortable for larger individuals.
