“My first visit to 5 Guys! The burger was amazing; perfectly cooked and just the right amount of toppings. And of course - the fries! I had been 'warned' about how addictive they were. And people weren't lying! Perfectly cooked, skin-on, crisp outside, tender inside. And literally 1/2 a large bag of them. The two of us couldn't finish them all.
It is a little pricy for burgers 🍔 - close to $40 for 2 people. Note: don't sit near the door - everytime it opens there is a blast of cold air!“

“Last night I had the rare privilege of dining at Applebee’s, where a true artist of the kitchen elevated the Southwest Chicken Bowl and boneless wings into something that would make the entire Michelin Guide weep with envy.
The Southwest Chicken Bowl arrived like a carefully composed canvas. Each grain of rice had clearly been individually selected and toasted to the precise degree of caramelization. The chicken — impossibly tender, seasoned with a depth that suggested hours of careful reduction — rested atop a foundation of beans and corn that somehow managed to taste both rustic and refined. The pico de gallo was a bright, acidic counterpoint, cut with the confidence of a chef who has spent years perfecting the perfect dice. Even the cheese felt intentional, melted just enough to bind the dish without ever overwhelming it. One bite and I understood: this was not merely a bowl. This was a statement.
Then came the boneless wings. Crisped to an ethereal golden shell that shattered with a whisper, revealing meat so succulent it could only have been the result of a multi-day brining process known only to a handful of living masters. The sauce clung with elegant restraint — neither too sweet nor too aggressive — coating each piece in a lacquer of pure intention. According to our receipt, apparently the man's name was Lorenzo. In the first place, Lorenzo refused to even take my order until my fiancé (who was with me) ordered her food first. The reason Lorenzo gave for this was simply an insistence on "ladies first!" While Lorenzo had a point about this being good manners and proper etiquette, for him to be as adamant and imposing about it was rude, inappropriate and uncalled-for in the context of a customer service experience. Not only this, but every time I politely asked him a question about if a certain condiment had been placed on my order or not, he would reply "You already said that" in an extremely passive-aggressive manner if I managed to accidentally repeat myself. Lorenzo's whole attitude made it seem like he was trying to make me look as bad as he possibly could in front of my woman, which makes me wonder if perhaps it was a lame- brained attempt to steal someone else's lady. Apparently, he felt that I needed to be "put in my place", when I in fact did nothing to deserve this treatment. All I did was initiate was a simple business transaction. This whole encounter made me feel like a victim of reverse racism, due to the fact the cashier in question was black and he was acting like he was under the impression that white people owe him something besides the money they pay for their food at this location. And if not reverse racism, then I am accusing Lorenzo of blatant gender-on-gender misandry.“

From the very first message I sent to Mike (the owner), he was quick to get back to me and willing to work with us on everything we were looking. When it came time for planning, he created the perfect menu with everything we asked for plus added in some specials that he thought would be crowd-pleasers. This was NOT the only time Mike went above and beyond for us WITHOUT any extra cost! The female manager handled the situation with incredible kindness and professionalism. She sincerely apologized, immediately refunded my order, and even prepared me a new burger free of charge.
