I’ve been recommended this place more times that I can count, so I finally made my way to Fresco Mexican and was not disappointed.
Food: I ordered their Cajun chicken quesadillas, which not only felt strangely authentic because of the style preparation, but it’s the first time I’ve ever seen someone season the tortilla which I loved.
Aesthetic: lots of seating both inside and outside, pretty simple set up.
Service: having multiple people come to the table and help grab things, give us water, and provide us with the food was nice. Felt like a well oiled machine.

My husband and I ordered chicken tacos and steak tacos. Unfortunately, they did not come with beans and rice like other places in the same price-point. The dinner did come with complimentary chips and salsa; every table got one to share. The food was kind of bland. The steak didn't seem to have any seasoning and the chicken only had a little bit. The two meals and 2 sodas came to $35. Food is not good enough to go back. The place is small and always packed...no idea why. Parking is hard to find, whether they have a town event or not.

Food is bland. No taste. Prices are OK for what you get. The older lady (probably owner) had an attitude.
The server kid was very cool however, and deserving of a good tip.

Sorry but this was bad, not just one thing but every dish was blah. Maybe dine in would be better than take out but the chicken dishes were dry and bland, mole was watery. For 100+ for takeout for 3 people i hoped for better. The only good was the location is nice, with byob that will make everything better.

Vegetarian options: The food was excellent. We were a hungy bunch of 8 people, who landed up at the reastaurant after a 7 mile hike at nearby Black River.
We were super impressed by the prompt service - the nachos came first, and they disappeared in no time. Our food arrived pretty quickly. The unanimous verdict was 'Food is awesome'. The service staff were warm and friendly and took care of our needs well. We were predominantly vegetarian, and there were many options.
We topped it off with stuffed Churros, and that absolutely hit the spot !
