Hacklebarney Farms is such a charming, family-run gem! Their cozy shop offers delicious baked goods and pies, plus adorable rescue-support candles featuring their sweet goldens. Fall brings fun family activities and tasty eats—just get there early for shorter lines and first dibs. The goldens love people but aren’t dog-friendly, so plan accordingly. Parking is easiest along the curved roadside, though take care—it's a busy, narrow stretch.
I love their baked goods and the cider is much better than some other popular places.
Delicious food and friendly staff.
This has to be one of my favorite farms in the area. Their food/bakery is delicious and the service is excellent. Also an amazing pet friendly place. Such a beautiful ambiance for the whole family.
Great donuts, pastries, food and gift items in a beautiful country setting. A Chester tradition!
Delicious Cider donuts and hot cider out of this world.
Such a great place to stop! I loved learning the history of this spot and how they source all their awesome products! The food was amazing!!!!
It has become a wonderful family tradition, we go often!
I remember loving this place but the last few holiday purchases have been anything but stellar. Is it because holidays tend to lower their standards? Not sure- but apples in the apple crumb were raw and tough even though we even warmed it up quite a bit. The blueberry is an industrial filling and their pumpkin should be labeled as clove pie...it's that overpowering. I don't understand how such a quiant farm could produce such a commercial tasting product. They were much better a few years ago.
Visited in early November, and while the harvest season was over, we were delighted to be allowed to pick any remaining apples free of charge—turning it into a fun and exciting apple “hunt”! The corn maze was a blast—just the right mix of fun and challenge.
We also tried their specialty lunch items like the cider hotdogs (so unique and tasty!) and were completely charmed by the adorable Golden Retrievers, stealing everyone’s hearts. The cider donuts were another highlight—deliciously soft, fresh, and impossible to resist.
And of course, we couldn’t leave without trying their viral ice cream float drink—it absolutely lived up to the hype! This place is a must-visit for anyone looking to enjoy a perfect fall day filled with delicious treats, cute pups, and memorable experiences. Don’t miss it!

Great place to buy pies. Apple cider doughnuts hot apple cider and more
Quality food and a joyful experience
Great Cider & donuts!
The lattice apple pie I bought looked delicious but was tough and anything but light and flaky, and the cranberry walnut bread had almost no cranberries or walnuts - more like a pound cake with sugar on top. Both were way overpriced and very disappointing.
Apple cider donut sundae was something else ✨✨✨
