Would not come back here.
Coffee is mid +
People are rude, asking simple questions about the menu is almost an inconvenience. Which then gives me weird vibes likeee are the workers being taken care of and are being paid enough. So I'm good hopefully everything is good over there. Imma stick to pren coffee istead :))

The drinks were delicious and the service was friendly, but it was SLOW. They definitely don't handle orders in the most efficient manner, resulting in a very crowded counter, and group orders having to wait 3 times as long as individual orders. There were 3 people working behind the counter. Instead of having drinks made in order, one person would handle the orders for each party. We had 3 people in our party and the girl took the 1st person's order then left to make it, leaving the rest of us to wait at the counter to order while the other workers started making drinks for the people behind us instead of helping to get our drinks made. It didn't help that the employee making our drinks was clearly new, and slower than the other 2 women working. It took us probably 20 min or more to get 3 drinks made. While at least half a dozen people that came in after us got their orders before us.

My friends and I came in here on Sunday afternoon and were all taken aback by how rude the women behind the counter were. I got a pistachio latte and was in the process of asking if it was actual ground pistachio or syrup in the coffee and was cut off by the younger woman who said “it tastes like pistachio we sell a lot”. My friend asked for an iced matcha and when the woman started making a hot one my friend said “excuse me ma’am I asked for iced” and without even turning around the woman making it said “I HEARD YOU” The drinks were delicious but the attitude left a lot to be desired, I won’t be back.

From how cute it looked, both outside and in, I assumed I would love this place. Unfortunately, the coffee was just TERRIBLE. We got two different kinds of lattes, and they both tasted so, so bad. And I'm not picky about coffee. I don't know how to describe the taste, but my husband said they tasted like when no one ever cleans or services an espresso machine. Add in an oddly... wet? muffin, and I dunno how this place stays in business. El Monte Coffee Roasters a couple streets back is 10x better (and about 1000x friendlier, I might add).

Genuinely they have the best Chai ive ever had here, the pastries are absolutely delicious and you wont find many pastries like this somewhere else (like the raspberry cruffin!!) Its decorated so beautifully and the staff is very welcoming and friendly. Drinks are so good I have to stop myself from spending all of my money here!!! 🥰

I was with my family Saturday of the craft fair and we were about to walk in when the man playing live music outside the cafe shouted at me saying “she’s going to have a problem with that stroller in there” gesturing to my baby’s stroller. When I asked him what he expects me to do with my baby, he responds with “stay out here and I’ll play you music”. Disregarding the fact that I was going in to buy something and that I would not be leaving my baby outside. Needless to say, that encounter left a horrible taste in my mouth and we left. I do not plan on returning if the shop owner has a “problem” with women and children.

Maria’s was absolutely amazing! We stopped in town on a road trip and we were blown away by this tiny place. The coffee was absolutely amazing and the quality was great. The blueberry crumb was 😍😍 I would recommend the pistachio shaken espresso and matcha latte!

Average coffee, nothing exceptional. The seating area was cozy but small, and the service was somewhat slow. Overall, it's a mediocre spot for coffee, in my opinion.
