The best Italian food in Morris county. The chicken Valentino is beyond incredible. I also tried the Asian calamari whilst here and it was hands down the best calamari dish I’ve tried. On top of that, this place is run by a top family. Caring, witty and helpful. A must visit if you’re in the area!!!!

Monte Casa is the more formal side of New York Pizza, where they don't serve pizza and have a slightly more limited menu. That helps to keep the atmosphere nicer for an adult night out. The nightly specials are always great, especially when the Braciole Pomodoro is on the menu. For the regular menu, you have to start with the fried calamari, burrata caprese and /or eggplant rollatini appetizers as they are all top notch. The chicken Monte Casa and chicken margherita are our favorite chicken dishes, and for seafood, the Monte Casa Branzino and Zuppa di Pesce are excellent. The owner and his entire family are there every day, running the place, so if there's ever a problem, you can speak to a family member and they'll make it right. We highly recommend giving Monte Casa a try if you're in the area.

It’s hard to tell from the photos online, but this is just an extension of the NY Pizza 🍕 restaurant. It’s basically a dining room with wait staff for the pizza place - very friendly people and food is decent.

The place has a great vibe, family-oriented, lots of laughter, and a welcoming atmosphere. Food was good, but our order took over an hour and came out incorrect, which was a bit frustrating. The staff seemed overwhelmed despite having plenty of people working. Hoping this was just an off night, because there’s definitely potential here. We’ll be giving it another shot.
