If I could give zero stars, I would. My group and I were shocked and deeply hurt by the blatant racism we experienced here. We arrived ready to enjoy a meal, but it quickly became clear that we were not welcome. While others were being seated promptly, we were ignored, talked down to, and eventually denied a table for no valid reason. This was not a misunderstanding — it was clear discrimination. No one should have to experience that kind of treatment, especially in 2025. Shame on this establishment for choosing hate over hospitality. I hope others think twice before supporting a business that treats people this way.

Nothing like calling ahead and told to come on down and then being greeted by a frantic host who obviously has too much on her plate. We couldn’t have felt more unwelcomed so the six of us and a child left. I guess a $300+ table isn’t worth any hospitality

Was very excited to eat. We called in and said we would be fine to sit. We were about to be seated and the woman came and said that’s not for you never felt before like I had to walk out of a restaurant. Older woman very rude.

Nice spot for a locals. Service was fast, friendly, food was hot and flavorful, Burger and Shanks just off the grill hot. Staffing was prompt in managing us with everything we needed. Thanks Jack, we will be back soon.

Lunch specials are great prices, had the turkey BLT wrap. Bacon was crispy and light delicious taste of the overall wrap. Love the waffle fries and french onion soup. Good choice of beers on tap. Mike the bartender was very friendly and quick service. Stop by here after the fall activities at Ort Farm.

Oh my god. First perfect burger I've ever had in my entire life. If you ask for medium rare it is literally cooked perfectly to that. I really enjoyed the food. The potato skins were amazing too. When I am in the area again- I will definitely come back.

Really comfortable Pub feeling. I had a Guinness on tap and some buffalo wings. The server was very friendly. In the atmosphere was very comfortable. I actually can't wait to go back! My best friend and I met halfway and enjoyed a nice summer luncheon together.

We've driven past this establishment dozens of times on our way home from visiting Ort Farms and finally decided to stop in. Our family of 4 felt like regulars from the moment we walked in. The hostess and server were attentive, the drinks were on point and the menu was comfort food! Definitely family friendly for our 6 and 4 year old. A+ experience. We will definitely be back.

Stopped in for some much needed eating after a hike on the Black River Trail. We were seated quickly and ordered a couple burgers. Everything was delicious and we were quite ravenous. Would definitely recommend stopping in for a bite if in the area!

Friendly and welcoming staff, as well as customers. Always have great conversation at Old Mill.
Had lunch yesterday with my son, he loves their Chili. He also had chicken tenders with spicy sauce and tuna sandwich on white toast. Tuna and chicken tenders are top notch.
I had a great manhattan on the rocks from the bar, and my favorite the barbecue chicken sandwich with side potato.

Some of the worst food I’ve ever had. I brought my sister, brother in law and father in law (who isn’t at all picky about food) and we literally couldn’t eat the food - which was embarrassing for me. It’s stale/soggy inedible bar food. Another thing to add is, we are a white family but the hillbilly/racist air in the place was palpable - truly felt like a small town hole in the wall bar in rural Mississippi - but with worse food. Men at the bar with trucker hats scowling at people trying to dine. Overall bad and weird experience.
