Ordering and then waiting to get food at a separate window is horrible. Bad system as they just plate the food and leave it there. Large orders get mixed up with people grabbing their food before the entire order is completed. One piece of advice: USE ORDER NUMBERS AND CALL THEM OUT WHEN THE ORDER IS READY.

Panera Chester NJ is really quality food prepared so fresh! I think this is the best Panera I have been, nice people, clean environment, great food choices and new sandwiches are terrific. I also like I can get fresh bread sliced to order, I will be back soon, very soon! Nice job managing this store!

Food was great. But what stood out at this Panera was after my 2 year old dropped my phone between the booth we were sitting at and the wall. It was almost impossible to get out. An employee there named Anthony went above and beyond to get my phone out of this booth. Him and the managers (whose names I did not catch) were very nice about the whole situation and did everything they could to get this phone out in one piece. It was amazing. I seriously cannot thank all of them enough. But especially Anthony.

Great people that work here but I don’t think management really cares how the place performs financially. It’s a bit dirty and food item inventory is always low or out of stock. Panera used to be much better than this.

Update 10/27/24. We have placed a large order. No fully satisfied with it: - no arugula in sandwich - one of fruit cups was half empty. - soup in the bread - ordered potato, got french onion.
I strongly recommend checking order for accuracy.
Restaurant was not busy during our visit.
Good place to get a meal. All the ingredients are definitely fresh. When we visited, the place was mostly empty (around 11 am) so it took no time from the moment we ordered until we received our food. WiFi is free, plenty of parking (free). Drive thru is available.

We had a really good experience at this Panera Bread located in Chester. Everything was good taste wise and felt fresh. The guy at the counter was really helpful and gave us an explanational service. We tried coffee , sandwiches , bagels etc. and all of them were good as expected. ✅️

I love panera bread and I thought it was fresh but yesterday that I was waiting on the window I see this guy taking the Mac and cheese from a plastic bag from the microwave it was super hot I don't know maybe I expect so much from panera that I'm so disappointed when I saw it. I was thinking they make it fresh since is so expensive too. From now I'm not buying anymore mac and cheese and I guess same with the soups. Panera bread can do better with does prices. Is not good to expose food in the microwave especially with plastic container is cancerous.
They got me with the 3 month free sip club deal. I never went to Panera much. Their staff is always very nice. They have nice self-serve hot/iced coffee. The people who work there are really nice, work hard and are very appreciated. Thank you kindly!

On July 5, 2024 at 8:45 PM we walked into the store to get coffee, but the coffee was cold considering the store was about to close. I’m going to assume that the lady in the front end was a manager, but she was very kind and went out of her way to make us fresh coffee And to even have small talk was very nice. Customer service was excellent. I will definitely recommend the store. She heated up Danishes as well and even brought out our coffees to us new cups even though we had empty cups to pour the coffee into very nice lady or manager, whoever she was , she definitely deserves the props. Thank you.
