We finally tried Redwoods after several friends enthusiastically told us about it. It did not disappoint. A terrific atmosphere with great service. We took on dinner here during a weeknight. My wife had the sirloin steak tips and I had the grilled salmon. They were both delicious. Our server recommended our drinks that were specials for the evening. Highly recommend this location and we will be returning.
Kid-friendliness: We brought our 4 year old with us and our server was very accommodating.
Food first. Burnt croissants should have never been service by kitchen or waitress Wife asked for no lettuce and what came on sandwich Food below average Service. Waitress had an attitude when my wife said no lettuce corrected but again quite an attitude. Did not address burnt croissants which were actually black on the ends. Would not have left a negative review but on Saturday we were at redwood and Monday my account had $200. charges for a $60. lunch. When calling the manager he became nasty and defensive on something we had no control over. It took 8 days from lunch to resolve. My wife has had office parties and spent many thousand of dollarsq at Redwood. Sometime you need to correct things but changing where you spent your dollar

Tried this place for dinner and it’s not worth the money! We were shown to our table and told our waitress would be with us momentarily. We sat there 15 minutes unattended and had to go to the front desk and ask about getting our waitress to come to our table. When she finally did, she seemed cranky and took our drink and appetizer order. We asked for water and had to wait for the drinks to be ready in order to receive them, which took quite some time. We placed our entrée orders when the drinks came and when our meals finally came, they were just luke warm. At this point, we were so hungry we just ate and once finished asked for the check. They also had the air conditioning running, and it was colder in the restaurant than outside fall temperatures. I would not recommend this place.

Just had a phenomenal baby shower at Redwoods and can't say enough good things about my experience. Janet, the event manager, was extremely helpful with the party planning process. Day of the shower, Nick and his team made sure everything was taken cared of and everyone was being cared for. I'm getting non-stop emails from attendees saying how great Redwoods was and nearly everyone at our brunch went back for seconds and even thirds. Am I happy, heck ya! Highly, highly recommend!
My husband and I were there last night for dinner. We had Rich as our waiter and he was absolutely phenomenal as well as our food. My husband had the filet, and I had the glazed salmon (which I highly recommend) and I finished the night with an espresso martini (also highly recommend) Thank you Redwoods for a fabulous evening. We definitely will be back!!
We are regulars here but had a very bad experience on Friday, August 24th. We had dinner and drinks, which came to $249.29 including tip. A few days later, upon checking our credit card statement, we saw that we had been charged $3,573! We called the restaurant to sort it out but were told the manager would not speak to us as this was “ the bookkeeper’s problem” and that he would call us back within a few days. Sorry, this is not good enough! You have taken a huge sum of money out of our account and it needs to be rectified immediately! Very disappointing that the manager would not even talk to us on the phone. We will now dispute all the charges with our credit card and we will not be back to Redwoods.

We decided to stop by on our way home as we drove through Chester. The atmosphere is nice and one of the rooms had a private party while we were there. The server seemed new but was friendly when he was at the table. My wife ordered a chicken sandwich, and I got a pulled chicken bbq sammy. Her sandwich was dry and assembled from cold cut chicken. My sandwich was very dry and needed extra bbq. We ordered some extra bbq and honey mustard to try and take some of the dryness away. I have to say the Honey mustard was the highlight of the meal. It has a zing to it ... if you like horseradish flavors, I highly recommend it. The fries were out of a bag kind of fries, and the coleslaw was very good. We have not been here for dinner, but I would not suggest the two sandwiches we ordered.
