I think this place is really cute and has great tea. The downside is that the afternoon tea portions are TEENY TINY. I've been to other afternoon tea locations, and never had finger sandwiches so small. It was cute, but if it weren't for the delicious scone, I still would have been hungry. If you're going for afternoon tea, definitely don't do it on an empty stomach

I love Sally Lunn's. I've been coming here since I was small and they've always consistently been lovely. I always get a pot of tea and a scone, but they have some nice deals where you can get extra goodies. The decor is lovely and very sweet, it makes you feel like you're in a little Victorian tea room. Their tea blends are lovely, my favorite is the Prince of Wales.Note for LGBTQ visitors: I am a visibly trans person and never have any issues here. I always bring my friends. Staff are always very kind.Parking: There is a parking lot but it is usually pretty crowded. I use disabled parking but sometimes I have to park kind of far away. It's worth it though!

Very lovely way to spend an afternoon with gal pals. Tea selection is devine, and lunch was superb. The only thing I did not care for however are the tables are super small. Three women at the table, our tea, and food left almost no room and we were crammed in the corner, no room to move chairs, felt like we were sitting on top of the surrounding tables. I suggest maybe fewer but bigger tables and spread them out.

As you walk in, you can smell the buttery perfection of the scones! They truly are mouth wateringly delicious?

I couldn’t even tell you how the food was because we left before it had a chance to come. Mind you we had been in the restaurant for an hour at that point. Ordered sandwiches and premade scones. The waiter was really rude and none of the staff seem to care that they had customers. I don’t even leave reviews and tend to give the benefit of a doubt, but I’m so hangry right now because I’ve never seen such horrible service in my entire life.

Had the regular tea....24.00 it in cluded the Equivalent of one whole sandwich....cut to look like more..a small tea pot and a scone....fruit added to fill it in...totally not worth the money. Lovely atmosphere.. Tea was flat, no taste.

Went in during a busy time and ordered 2 Victorian afternoon teas. Only one came out but I didn’t want to make a fuss since it was busy. I noticed the salmon sand wasn’t there so I asked if we could have one. The elderly employee with an accent came over and began accusing me of already eating it. She then quizzed me on which sands I already ate. I know I did not eat the salmon… I even took a picture of what arrived. I did not appreciate being accused of lying and we ended up never even receiving the salmon sand. Inappropriate behavior.
