I have recently become a regular at the Chester Starbucks, and consistently enjoyed the welcoming atmosphere, high-quality drinks, and genuinely friendly service. However, today's visit stood out in a way that deserves special recognition.
I was lucky enough to be helped by a team member named Olya, and she truly went above and beyond. Her energy was absolutely refreshing—warm, attentive, and effortlessly kind. Not only did she handle our order perfectly, she also graciously accommodated a last-minute addition so that our dog Lola could enjoy a pup-chino. That thoughtful touch meant the world to me.
What really set Olya apart was the way she did everything—with a radiant smile and sincere well wishes that brightened our whole day. It's rare to encounter customer service that feels this genuine, and it's clear that Olya takes pride in making every guest feel valued.
Thank you, Olya, and thank you to the entire Chester Starbucks team for making every visit feel like a treat. I’ll definitely be back (with Lola in tow)!
Large Space. Quiet/Moderate noise level
My latte that’s supposed to have HALF a pump of caramel tastes like a caramel explosion went off in my cup. The label clearly didn’t print properly as it shows 5 pumps and doesn’t have “decaf” clearly printed either. I can’t risk drinking this, if it’s not actually decaf. And regardless, it tastes too sweet — not what was ordered. Change the ink cartridge in your printer for Pete’s sake!
I wish this was an isolated incident but this has happened so many times. I don’t get decaf when asking for it. They use almond milk when I ask for whole milk. Instead of half a pump or one pump of syrup there’s double the usual amount. If I had been picking this up for myself, I could have probably caught the issues but alas, I wasn’t the one in the drive through and here we are. I’m disappointed and unable to enjoy an expensive coffee that tastes like garbage.
At $6-8 per cup of coffee, why am I wasting my time and money here? Why is anyone?
In regards to the company response: how am I supposed to ask it to be remade when I’m not there and it’s a drive for me to even get back there? There’s a reason I didn’t go myself. And had you actually read the review, you’d realize someone else picked the order up for me. Aka I couldn’t ask for it to be fixed, yeah? Nice blanket response you gave.. Shows again that you don’t really care for what your customer experience is.
Horrible to pick up delivery orders here. Employees have a bad attitude.
No idea what some of these people are talking about. I have never once had a bad experience at this location. Always friendly and as quick as possible.
Coffee is fine. Staff is not so fine. I mean, at least smile. You have one job. And then you want a tip?
Also, it wouldn't hurt to do a sweep and wipe once during the day. The tables are gross and the floors are sticky. Maybe they're short staffed or maybe Gen Z doesn't do extra work, but come on.
Starbucks has changed their brewed coffee formula and the current offering is weaker than their main competitor and almost undrinkable. Pour it into a clear glass and you will see. Been a Starbucks fan for nearly 30 years so it pains me to be done with them, except for maybe iced coffees in the summer. Chester location is roomy with a decent atmosphere so a good place to visit, provided you avoid the brewed coffee (unless you like it very weak/watery)

Simply put, the #1 Starbucks that we have visited across the world, tied with the Starbucks at the center of Anna Nagar in Chennai, India. Absolutely, superb service and roomy/spacious unlike many/most other Starbucks. Fits the area perfectly.

After spending all day in nearby Alstede farm, this nearby Starbucks was a much needed refreshment to get some decent cool AC air, proper restroom and properly priced drinks. This is a big store with lots of nice sitting area, multiple all gender bathrooms and drive thru.
They have all the popular drinks and bakery items in the menu. I ordered the chocolate chip Frappuccino that was perfectly made. Huge chucks of chocolate chips and delightful whip cream with syrup on top. Drinks were made pretty quickly There were several baristas behind the counter. All were friendly.
Parking: Lots of spots available in front of the store and they have drive thru

One of the better Starbucks in the area, at least from a drive thru

Put the condiments/straws back on the counter so customers especially mobile orders can take what they need without waiting to interrupt the busy barista for a straw or hot sauce defeating the entire purpose of a mobile order. Additionally in NJ if you have biodegradable straws (which Starbucks does) you can leave them out without requiring customers to “ask for them” like plastic.
I tried to contact the company directly and leave this feedback but unfortunately the website is an endless loop of “contact us click here go nowhere” hopefully someone sees this here and makes a change.
