10/10 all across the board.

Danie Restaurant in East Orange did not disappoint. The black rice was perfect ••• not too oily, just right. It tasted homemade. The fried chicken was crispy, the sauce was on point, and the pikliz wasn’t as hot as I usually like it( just my preference). That extra sauce on the side takes the whole meal to another level, so make sure you got a drink. 😂

Overall, I would give this place 5 stars. The food was absolutely amazing. Every single thing we ate was a 5 out of 5. The rice was so tasty, the sauce was flavorful, and the fish was cooked to perfection. Wow.

The service was actually pretty good. We ordered over the phone, came in, and everything was ready. She let us view everything, was very nice, and asked if we needed anything.

It was Haitian Flag Day, so we were supporting Haitian businesses...

Fortunately for us, the food was delicious, we dined in-spacious and table settings were adorned for the holidays, service was wonderful and prices were moderate. No complaints at all and hats off to the chef!
