During my visit, I experience good customer service; employees are kind and helpful with navigating the menu. For the most part, I opt for Vegan options. Even so, I opt for this eatery because of actually setting out to do so from a time ago. I don't know if there is a time range for certain meals though arriving in the evening, an employee tells me the beef ribs will need one hour. So, I order the pork ribs (crispy beneath, tender and flavorful to the bone), string beans (low-key sweet, juicy), pinto beans (very very mild flavor aside from a sharp saltiness), and corn bread (very light, not so sweet, on the drier side though not dry and unflavorful, quite decent after the meal overall). The sauce is delicious and not syrup-y (a strong grill-wood-smoky sweetness). The establishment has seating for about three people. The establishment seems like it may greatly benefit from a renovation. The establishment only accepts cash and has an ATM (though banks are nearby).

Today’s my father’s birthday. Came here as he loves their pulled bbq sandwiches. Walked in and was rudely greeted with “we’re not ready, bout 30 more minutes” . I walked out! If your establishment opens at 11 and the door is open, then you need to be READY for business or change your opening time

Roaches 🪳 roaches 🪳 roaches 🪳 roaches 🪳 🤮🤮……never seen so many roaches 🪳 in a restaurant…..only thing filthier than the actual establishment are the attitudes of the shady severs behind the glass ….overpriced….minimal portions… with bad attitudes …I wouldn’t bring my dog her to eat

Today I stopped in, ordered baked chicken and 2 side orders of collards. I usually get the ribs, but I wanted something different. Should have just stayed home! Chicken was not baked, it was cold and hard as a rock, looked like old fried chicken, then they put BBQ Sauce on it! WHY! I DID NOT ASK FOR THIS SIR. Collard greens were cold and not the usual. So disappointed… never again

1st gentleman was nice and polite, but the older guy came in and was not a pleasure person, got the order wrong, that the 1st guy took, then he didn't put sauce on the sandwich and was cold didn'tknowuntili hot home.. The sweet potato was not good, it may have been day old .

This food is so good let me tell you!!! But unfortunately that's where it stops the location is unprofessional is very dirty is this real sad I have so much potential but they don't care they really need to do better it's not just about serving delicious food it actually does matter that you keep the place clean and that you are working and not talking.
