Best Italian food in Jersey. The food is unreal and they treat you like family!

Our family was at a retirement party last night at Appian way. Bobby couldn’t have been more accommodating. Needed two meals for special diets and even though it was a buffet , he took care of it. The appetizers were wonderful and the buffet had so much to choose from. Thanks Bobby , you went all out and we so appreciated it. It was a wonderful celebration 🙏🙏

Best Italian food I’ve ever had. The staff was wonderful and very polite and friendly. I can’t wait to go back when I get to New Jersey again.

Appian Way is one of those places that just doesn’t exist anymore—and that’s what makes it special. Families have been coming here for generations, and once you’ve eaten here, you understand why.

The food is genuinely authentic Italian. Consistently excellent, It’s the kind of meal you tell everyone about and remember. With so many old local staples gone over the years like the original Libretti’s or The Manor, Appian Way stands out as one of the greats. It’s absolutely worth going out of your way for.

I stopped in for dinner after attended a Seton Hall basketball gam and I recently had my family reunion here and it couldn’t have gone better. Bobby, the owner, is incredibly kind and accommodating and makes you feel like family the moment you walk in.

I attended a 80th Birthday Party the hall was elegantly decorated. However, the room was very cold. I removed my coat only to consume my meal and I wasn't the only one. The service was excellent. The nice variety food was served buffet style for guests. The Birthday Queen's table was served their meals. This was my third visit at the Appian Way.

Lovely dinner at a hidden gem! Went there for dinner with friends, can't believe we had not been there before. Great food, great service. Bobby and his team took great care of us. Highly recommended!

I attended a repass here on the 20th of December and left my favorite hat with a very valuable piece on it . I called the first day and it had not been found yet, I gave it 2weeks later call and spoke with Bobby .. and they had it for me . 💚💚 thank you so much.

Had an event dinner there. The service, food and overall experience was top notch. The only suggestion I would make, is when serving buffet style, put the food serving tables in the middle of the serving room rather than up against the wall so people can make 2 lines and get food from both sides.

Nice place. My only issue they don't give any appetizers and they let you pay for it.

Let me start with this: Your next event HAS to be at the Appian Way! I just had my retirement party there and it was OUT-STAND-ING! Everything you could possible want in a celebration can happen at the Appian Way. The room looked fantastic, and the food was absolutely top notch. We had 75 people in attendance and everybody left happy and completely enamored with the place. Bobby made sure of that even before a single guest arrived. The music, the ambiance and even the sound system for the speeches that ended the night - it all went without a hitch! Oh, and did I mention the parking? The lot could’ve fit twice as many cars - easily! Let me add here that the cost per person turned out to be extremely reasonable. Honestly, why would you go anywhere else? The Appian Way is the place to be!

Had my wife's 50th birthday party over the weekend. Bobby the owner was amazing, we left everything up to him from food to the linens and he delivered. The food was great, his staff was very helpful from the bartender to the waiters. Everybody, who attended the party had nothing but great things to say. Especially about the food. Plus my wife was extremely happy with her party. Not to mention his prices were extremely reasonable. I will definitely book another party there in the future.

A big shoutout to Bobby at the Appian Way. We had our 60th West Orange Mountain High School reunion this weekend. Bobby and company did an excellent job. The room and décor was perfect. The food was delicious. The staff was a pleasure to deal with. Plenty of on-site parking. I would highly recommend having your next party at the Appian Way.
