We have dined at this restaurant fourteen times in the past twelve years and have never been disappointed until yesterday. We were seated in the open room which wasn't objectionable, but the table, without a tablecloth was clean. The issue was that it appears that it was cleaned with a solvent because the varnish sections were rough and sticky. The owner was super easy to work with from the first phone call. I gave him an estimated headcount, sent a deposit, and he held the date with barely any hassle. Went to Bistro for Mother’s Day with friends and family, we had a party of 10 with reservation. Upon arrival they were very busy as expected, typical of a very good and popular spot; so we didn’t mind waiting a few minutes to be seated.
