What a great find. Friendly service, cute place with large tables that can accommodate a big group and great food. They prepared something special for my vegan diet which was a carribean inspired lentil dish over rice with a little heat and delicious plantains and my husband had the Cuban jibarito and deep fried corn. All the plants are so beautiful! Check this place out.Vegetarian options: They were more than happy to modify a dish to be vegan so I imagine it would be just as easy for vegetarian.Kid-friendliness: Large space, fun atmosphere.

It’s Madi Gras season! I’m very particular about Gumbo if it is not from the N.O. The gumbos was freaking outstanding. My only issue was how it was served would have loved to have had a heaping amount of gumbo sauce. All things considered it was great!

The food is uniquely excellent. However, the service is weird. I’ve had the ribs twice and Mojo Tacos twice. Here’s what weird. The last time I bought the $20 rack of pork ribs I asked for BBQ sauce. The cashier told me that sauce was in the bag. It wasn’t. Tonight, I got mojo tacos. I asked for the mojo sauce on the side. “No problem.” It was on my receipt. Guess what. No sauce. What the hell?

Just passing through, and this place popped up. So we went, I love Caribbean food. This was great, We loved it. Food was wonderful, just spicy enough but not overwhelming. Portions were great, plenty with some to bring home for later, just as it should be. Service was attentive, quick and friendly. Place was very clean, and the little store in the back was a nice touch.Maybe a little more Caribbean decor around would be cool.We will go back

Being from Philly were used to having good food always close by so this spot is a pleasant surprise! They serve really great Puerto Rican food along with other Caribbean dishes! The owner and staff of the restaurant were really sweet to us and our wiggly 2 year old!
Had a 3 meat combo, pulled pork was excellent, brisket was a little fattier than I like but good smoke, and I ended up with a sausage somehow. Maybe I didn't specify.Hush puppies were nice, also ordered loaded tostones, excellent.Got there around 6, ordered, I was gone by 6:30.
The food was great, pretty good chicken sandwich it tasted freshly made,The wings were cooked well and had a nice smoky flavor.And the empanadas tasted great The service was even better there were two cashiers ready to take your order, I asked the cashier what she recommended and gave me some great options,I ate in so I waited at a table and both cashiers brought it to the table for me and they even went out there way to give a complimentary tiramisu cake which tasted pretty good The ambiance was nice, relaxing and clean.

I have yet to get something I actually wanted on the menu. Every time I go craving something particular, they always don't have. It's always "we've ran out of that". I've been there five times and I have gotten that answer every time! Disappointing.
