Just a day ago I had a late lunch here, my NJ friend bringing me over recommending this place. I was on a short visit to NJ, having no idea about this place before. The Turkish meal that I chose ("beğendi") could be one of the best that I ever had outside of a home environment! I have some dental issues these days so I went for gyro as the meat companion to the eggplant base instead of the more traditional choice of skewered meat and the whole thing turned out to be lovely, served by a kind and attentive young lady. We had one "künefe" as a desert in the end and that was great too. I complimented them there and feel that I should do it here as well. Definitely recommended!

I usually get take out of gyros here, they are amazing. Staff is also so nice and welcoming. If you are looking for awesome turkish food in the area give them a try, you will love it.

I ordered through Ubereats and the kebabs had no flavor or taste. The homemade ayran was sour. It is a shame that such places represent Turkish cuisine.

Had the grilled octopus in 2022 it was the best octopus I've ever had, I came back to Cliffside Park in 2023 to have the grilled octopus again but I was told they no longer offered grilled octopus, only octopus salad, which was a less tasty and overall an underwhelming dish. I hope you return with the grilled octopus. It was delicious ? (A picture of the grilled octopus below)

We have been coming to this restaurant because of the fresh and tasty food but ever time the music was disturbingly loud. Today for the first time the music , the volume and every thing was Amazing.
The food and service are very consistent and outstanding. Everything is fresh and high quality. I love this place!❤️

Nice interior with nice decorations. We went on a Tues night about 6pm so wasn't busy. It was nice that there was municipal parking in lower level of high-rise building next door and no charge after 6pm. Our dinner was marred by very slow service. There was only 1 waitress plus a person bringing out food ( who didn't look comfortable doing anything but bringing out food). Food also seemed to be coming out of the kitchen very slowly which is unfortunate because the food was good. Our dinner on a not-busy Tues took 2 hours. Each table gets a basket of warm bread with olive oil. We tried the cold hummus ( they have a hot hummus as well). It was good. You do not get pita with the cold hummus, we used the bread from basket which was fine. I order the gyro plate and my husband ordered the Adana with yogurt (hot) . We had a small kunefe for dessert. Food was tasty and reasonably priced. I normally would definitely return but seeing other comments about slow service will make me do the tradeoff in my head of whether it was good enough to be sitting for 1.5 hours just waiting on food or someone to come by to pick up plates. Time will tell.

Horrible food preparation of the salad we ordered. It was packed poorly in a cheap tin container. Dressing spilled all out of container in a plastic bag the salad was put in. Thankfully the rest of our order was ok as delivery was taken care of . Just people dont care when they packed this up at the restaurant. Really gross!!!

Beyoglu offers some of the best turkish food in town. Everything on the menu is always delicious and the lunch specials are the greatest value in town. We also love the staff- they are always so nice and attentive.

I loved this place! I had passed by here so many times and I just recently decided to try it for date night.Firstly, I was amazed by how inviting the place felt, as well as the people. Our host and waitress was very kind and attentive! She sat us at a perfect spot by the window, made recommendations, and ensured our dinner experience was a good one with her positive energy!Now let's talk food We started with the babaganoush; it was delicious. The bread that was served was also super tasty and fresh. I then tried the lamb shish with yogurt which was also pretty amazing, BUT I did end up feeling full quickly so I didn't get to fully enjoy.Will I be returning here? Absolutely!
