This place is really good but can be intimidating if you’re not used to it. It’s insanely hot inside — feels like 1,000 degrees — and not the most inviting spot. The staff doesn’t speak much English, but I’ll swear by their chicken and moro. I’ve had it over a hundred times, and it always hits.
That said, the interior isn’t great, and you’re definitely going to leave smelling like...

Listen, la comida dominicana here is banging. The food here is always good, and they serve very good portions for the portions. The empanadas are huge. The best oven roasted chicken in the area. Sancocho is always banging. You have to get food from here, and there's always a great variety of food fresh to choose from and takeout.

Ive been coming to this John Fried Chicken since high-school, even my old school Dominican mom loves this spot. I make my husband drive me all the way from Hackensack just to enjoy their food. I love their Pollo Horneado, oven roasted chicken, always fresh.
