Shah’s Halal is such a great addition to Cliffside Park! They started as a single food cart in Queens back in 2005, and now they’ve grown into a 100% Halal-certified international brand with 120+ locations and it’s easy to see why. Their food is consistently fresh, flavorful, and made with humanely sourced meats and crisp veggies.

The menu has something for everyone: platters, gyros, burgers, salads, and even vegan options. And of course, the legendary white sauce… it’s a must. I always ask for extra because it truly makes every bite better.

I tried the cheesesteak and it was incredibly comforting and packed with flavor. If you’re craving Halal, this is the spot plus they’re open late! Highly recommend checking them out.

I'm very mixed about this place. I've ordered twice through Uber Eats and here's my honest take.

Taste is great. Food is well seasoned and delicious.

As for my major issue, both times I have specifically asked for only lettuce and rice along with the meat in my combo platter. That and sauce on the side. Both times my specific instructions were blatantly ignored no matter how detailed I wrote the instructions. This just makes me believe either the people who work there don't care or do not take the time to read specific instructions which is awful service as these are options provided by the business.

Honestly out of many Shah’s locations. This is probably one of the worst. You order with specification and they don’t follow it. The food barely has taste compared to rest. You ask for extra white sauce and they don’t give. If they do it’s such small containers like half a spoon in each, not their usual brand name package they have. Not sure why but seems like the owner buying cheap product to save a buck. A franchise is supposed to be like the rest. Not give the rest a bad reputation.
