I walked into the store today and immediately turned around and went back outside thinking I walked into the wrong place. Although the large sign says Homemade Pirogi still hangs above the door, the inside has been transformed into a Latin market/restaurant. Luckily someone who worked there came out to get me and told me they sell pirogis. Main difference is they weren't fresh. They sell them frozen now.
Have been a customer here for pirogi as long as the current owner’s Mother was making the homemade pirogi decades ago. The best pirogi besides the ones my polish church made growing up. “Homemade Pirogi” makes a variety of flavors and a they are all out of this world. I live in NC now but every time we come to visit NJ, we stop in and get a cooler filled of these amazing little pillows of perfection. You will never regret buying these. So delicious!

Our go-to for pierogi! Potato and cheese is our regular choice. The only reason I’m giving four stars for service is that they don’t offer preorders. The staff was friendly and helpful, but it took me two trips (over an hour away) to get our order.
