Spuntino Wine Bar & Italian Tapas

Food was nothing special, very bland. Spuntino board looked like it was just thrown together. The service was by far the worst…The server did not come to our table for 45 minutes. Didn’t bother asking us for coffee or dessert. One of the worst dining experiences we’ve ever had.

I met some colleagues for dinner. The service was average. The food was not good. The chicken Milanese sat on a greasy bed of dry arugula. There was two tomatoes, cut in half and zero dressing other than the grease on the plate. My colleague had a pasta dish. He had the sweats by the time he got to his car and barely made it to his toilet. I had violent, intestinal issues the next day and almost needed new gym shorts.

Perfect place for a craft cocktail, quality glass of wine, delicious food, classy ambiance, and extensive happy hour. I come here often and see Lexi, who is consistently great. Moves around the bar gracefully and efficiently like it's her own home. Tonight I met Tori, who is knowledgeable and genuine. The two make a great Thursday night team. Always feel welcome here. It's a favorite date night spot too!

It's been hard to find good food in New Jersey. The food is small portions, however great flavor. We order the meatballs, rigatoni, picante pizza, and short ribs. We also ordered Gelato and apple crustado. Everything was delicious. We had a server named Gabriel. He was attentive and sweet spirited. Very attentive to our table and when we waited for a while, he made sure to update us. Very malleable. Overall great experience.

It's a very noisy restaurant, and not good for a romantic dinner. We arrived on time for our 7pm reservation, which the hostess insisted was a reservation for 6:45pm. We were still seated, and when I double checked the reservation time in the app, I was correct. Then upon finishing dinner, we departed at 8:30 for a movie at the AMC theater in the same shopping center at 8:45. At 8:34, I realized I forgot my leftovers at the restaurant and ran back. At 8:37, the hostess told me my leftovers had been discarded. I understand the restaurant might have been busy, but there is not reason they couldn't set my food aside... especially considering only seven minutes had passed!! All things considered, I'm not sure if I'll be back. The food was meh.

Haven't been back to Spuntino in about 8 years. Missed it. Had a nice small table for two and great wine. We weren't rushed out so we were able to slowly enjoy the food and drinks. Everyone should go and enjoy it.

I loved having small plates because my friend and I were able to order multiple items but able to taste it all! Small plates makes it easier to allow tasting without being overly full. They also had a great selection of drinks that the waiter was able to suggest! We are coming back here again!!
