“Saw this place a few weeks ago and have been meaning to try the crepes. They were yummy and fresh. The strawberries were perfect and it had just the right amount of Nutella. Not too much where it made it too sweet.

The coffees were well made. It is a small shop with a few outdoor seats. In the summer there isn’t much shade. But it still made for a nice time outdoors.“

The owner and his wife are fantastic, welcoming, and super into thier craft. I say craft because these aren't generic combinations, theyre thought out combinations and flavors that work perfectly in whatever way you like. It's my favorite hot dog spot I've ever visited. “We went for the all in one box because it was easily enough for two. The honey soy flavored chicken was fresh, crispy and scrumptious. It paired well with the waffle, and the fresh pineapple and ripe tomatoes. The box comes with a heap of fries and a mozzarella stick. The milk teas are generously sized, and there are many other tasty looking permutations. The cashier offered us complimentary vegetable dumplings which had a light crispy fried skin and flavorful fillings; I only wish there were more of the dipping sauce 🤩So glad we stopped by for an impromptu date.“

Icy Mellon - Hoboken

If you’re in Hoboken and even thinking about a mango drink, just stop what you’re doing and go to Icy Mellon. These folks don’t just make smoothies—they craft frozen perfection. I got the mango, and I swear it was so rich, fresh, and vibrant it deserved a seatbelt of its own.

Unfortunately, I had to stop short while driving and—well—mango mayhem ensued. All over me. All over the console. But you know what? I couldn’t even be mad. It’s that good. If anything, it was a reminder I should’ve finished the cup before pulling out.

Super flavorful, super refreshing, and absolutely worth the mess. Pro tip: maybe sip this one while parked. You won’t want to waste a single drop.“

“While meandering around our local neighborhood, my husband and I stumbled upon this tiny diner and gave it a try. We're so glad we did, because this hole in the wall turned out to be a diamond in the rough.

With a nondescript exterior and limited signage, Foodies Diner is easy to miss. It's in an area with mainly houses and mixed use commercial buildings, but the space inside is cozy. I especially appreciated the way the owner greeted everyone who enters and thanked everyone who leaves with notable warmth and small-town friendliness.

The menu reads like a true diner - with all-day breakfast and brunch options, as well as standard lunch fare. We ordered a Santa Fe salad and an L.A. burger - which comes with avocado, bacon, onion, lettuce, and tomatoes. The burger was pretty standard, but having it delivered on a warm brioche bun feels a little bit special. The accompanying fries were also great - crisp and potatoey on the inside.

The salad, on the other hand, was a near triumph. Served on a large platter, there was a small field of well-seasoned chicken, shredded cheddar, vegetables, avocado, pico de gallo, and - best yet - some pieces of warm, toasted pita. I even sprinkled some pieces of bacon from my burger into this salad, and wow did that take it over the top. I dug into this salad with fair gusto and would absolutely come back for it...which is saying something, since I wouldn't expect to fall in love with a salad at a diner.

Service was fantastic, and we were pleased with how reasonably priced our meal turned out to be. There's plenty of parking - either right out front or in the lot further back.“

? Highly recommend the outdoor dining environment. It is sunny and comfortable. There are not many cars on the road and it is not smoky. There are many seats and you can be seated without waiting. However, when there are many people, the meal delivery speed will be much slower.“
