These folks know their business! Near the interstate, it is a convenient spot for a meal. Owners realize that travelers may not have a lot of time, and orders are taken quickly, meals served without a long wait, and food is abundant and delicious! The establishment has an interesting history too, with beautiful woodwork, and the railroad car, still in great shape from the 1920s!

August 23 afternoon lunch with 9 at two tables pushed together. My husband ordered hot open roast beef sandwich. Received a slab of London broil. No bread, just meat. Waitress was very inattentive, never came to tables to ask how everything was. When she finally came back to table, he questioned it didn't look like roast beef and no bread. She replied "that's how it comes". He didn't want to make a fuss since we were out with friends so he let it go. He asked 3 times for a refill water, never got it. Another friend gave him his. Woman I was sitting next to had her order messed up, had to flag down waitress. Waitress acted like it was a bother to take it back to be fixed. We had separate checks. One couple was charged for a soda they did not order. Everyone commented their food was just ok, nothing special for the price charged. Next time we plan to meet at Cracker Barrel across the highway. It wasn't crowded so there is no excuse for the lack of service.

I hadn't been to the Clinton Station Diner in years, so it was great to go back. The place is unique with a semi-rustic feel, a rail car section, and one long showcase of desserts. In fact, I have been to diners around the country and have never seen this extensive of a menu. My girlfriend got a cheese steak with onions. The flavor was great and the roll was amazing though were fresh cut fries were cool. My Greek Omelette (feta, onion, tomato, and kalamata olives) was good but lacked a little flavor, oddly enough. My potatoes were cool and so was my rye toast. My iced coffee was fantastic as well as the really tasty fruit cup. Our server, Lexi, was absolutely amazing. She is kind and professional, as well as being a great listener. Right off Route 78, the diner is open 24-hours with a staff that never rests!

Stopped here for breakfast on the way to the casino. Although the breakfast specials were a decent price, the food was not. Ordered cheese omlettes and toast and was very disappointed. The omlettes were bland and there was hardly any cheese inside. There was some cheese in the middle but the ends had nothing and were dry. The potatoes were terrible. They had green pepper pieces in them and it was not stated in the menu. I have acid reflux and cannot eat peppers. The toast was disgusting. One small end slice and one large slice which was served burnt. My wife had rye bread which had caraway seeds ( again not mentioned in menu) and served the same as mine. No grain breads on the menu either. This place could use a good cleaning also. I saw banners around that said best around for 20 years. I think that's the last time it was cleaned. The chairs are all scraped and damaged and our table was not clean. The ladies room was also a mess. One of the stalls had a trash can and a toilet brush in the middle of it. The stalls are extremely small and those thelings should have not been in there. Is the customer supposed to clean the bowls? Io really doubt this will be a stop for us again.

The roasted chicken was so dry that I couldn't eat it.

Awesome diner. Been wanting to stop here for decades. Glad I finally did

We've been regular, long time, loyal customers of this diner for the greater part of the past 15 years... Maybe longer! And we came in last weekend for breakfast, and everything was not prepared as we requested, and our waiter was not the least bit attentive. So we paid the bill, left a minimal tip, and hit the road. I kept a copy of my receipt, and emailed the owners, as they claim that all feedback is welcome... I included every single bit of detail from my receipt, like the invoice number, server's name, and exactly what the problems were. And no one had the common courtesy, decency or respect to even reply to me. So be it. You don't need us, or our business, and after 15 years or more??? We don't need you either. Not the least bit recommended. All over a $37 bad breakfast, with a horrible waiter who didn't even give us drink refills. Deplorable.

I arrived and was seated promptly, but unfortunately, that was the extent of the service. After sitting for 9 minutes without a single staff member acknowledging me or offering even a glass of water, I decided to leave. If the service is this neglectful, it makes me question the overall quality of the establishment. Disappointing experience—I wouldn’t recommend this diner.

Choo Choo, ate in the train car, which is fun, service could be better, but the menu is big and fun. Have visited here before and would come back. SALAD BAR IS GREAT!!! Desserts are varied and delicious. A little pricy but what isn't now, definitely a classic diner feel. Great place.

This has been a “go to” spot for 15+ years when we’re on the road to visit family. We’ve always been pleased, in the past. This time, though, may well have been our last time. In our opinion, the salad bar quality has declined. The chicken tenders I ordered were full of gristle and very tough. The well-advertised house made French fries were not cooked very well. Way too many croutons in the OK split pea soup which two of our party ordered. The beef over noodles was below par - the meat seemed past its prime. As usual, portions were generous but quality over quantity would have been preferred. Maybe focus more on the food and less on the electric vehicle chargers!

My daughter and I went for dinner was basically empty. Service was terrible it was 45 minutes before our food came. Food was terrible I got a grilled chicken salad lettuce was wet chicken was not grilled looked like it was microwaved. It was horrible my dsughter got a cold cheeseburger. Overpriced for cold awful food. The owner was yelling at employees in front of customers and our waiter never asked us to refill our drinks. I would NEVER go back here. It was also very dirty very disappointed. Bridgewater Diner from now on they never disappoint

Service was good, and the ambience was fine (perhaps the train theme is a bit overdone, but nothing to detract from the experience). Breakfast plate met expectations, portions were huge. Not my favorite home fries, but definition & tastes vary... nothing wrong with them, but would have preferred another prep. Fresh squeezed OJ was the highlight, although chilling would have improved (and perhaps inspired a 4*)

During my road trip to USA coming from Canada, it was a very good surprise for the quality of food. Good value for money and well placed just right next door I-78. Amazing Cheese Cake, but the sandwich could be better if the buns coming heated/toasted.

we have been fans for awhile, but our most recent experience was terrible. Service was the main issue. Never came back to check on us. We had to ask for assistance 4 times.
