Chick Power Salad was delicious.
Great service. I was offered a free sample of the Chickpea of the Sea.

This place is fantastic! Food is consistently good and so is the service. Being a vegan I highly recommend this place

We tried the pesto chicken sandwich and seitan lovers bowl. Both were very good in terms of flavor! As far as portion size, the bowl is a better value than the sandwich which was a little small. There is limited seating inside, but the outdoor seating area is very nice. Updated from previous review on 2025-07-07

Lovely welcome to us & our dog, thank you! Pretty spot for outside seating w/ a friendly mallard, plus indoor seating. Had some wraps, and took some to go, also a scrumptious cupcake & fresh veg juice, delicious. The vegan cheese steak was especially unique & flavorful. Updated from previous review on 2025-06-18

Grounded for Life is the only all vegan restaurant in Hunterdon County, so it’s a must-visit if you’re in the area! It’s a cute little cafe nestled in the heart of Clinton near the old mill. They have a good variety of options for decent prices, and I’ve enjoyed most of the food I’ve had in the many times I’ve been here over the years. I definitely recommend checking this place out and ordering from them whenever you can to support an all vegan place!

i’ve been here a dozen times and have enjoyed everything i’ve ordered. Haven’t been disappointed once and will continue to go back for more!

We were on our wat to the Poconos and were delighted to find this cute little spot that offered both vegan and gluten free options . Food was very good and left us both feeling quite content. If we are ever in the area again we will definitely return to try something else.

This place has no milk. Who has a cafe without milk. The espresso drinks were so bad I threw them away and went to Starbucks.

We were pleasantly surprised to find a vegan spot directly across the street from an art museum. We got some chips, a Hello Peanut smoothie, and a cheese burger. Prices were normal. The Hello Peanut smoothie rated high for me on the smoothie scale, that alone I would've given 5 stars for. The staff were friendly and the space would've been a cute spot to hang out in if we hadn't been in a rush. The burger was not particularly special compared to other vegan cheeseburgers and that's the only reason I've given them four stars. I'll also say that if you're vegan and gluten free, there are some baked goods for you, but they didn't have any sandwich options that would've fit the bill.
