I recently ate here with my mom. The food was incredible. The atmosphere inside was wonderful. We were thrilled to see that they have upgraded the indoor seating area. Outside has always been great in the summer, but now it is a year-round go to place.
I have eaten here on numerous occasions and have held luncheon meetings here. The restaurant is always very neat, clean and well-organized. They have a wide variety of food available on their menu and they suggested several items to offer on a limited menu for group luncheons. My choices always seemed to satisfy our group. The food is always delicious, fresh and served quickly. The entire staff is very friendly and helpful. If you sit in the porch area, you can watch the river...
If we ate in Italy, the food wouldn’t be this good. This is fine Italian dining in a rustic shack in a quaint little old town. The mushroom raviolis were paper thin not like the bulky dense noodles you get at regular NJ restaurants. The dipping oil turned plain bread into the most delicious garlic bread that my kids loved even though it was loaded with what looked like pesto. We actually asked for more with no shame. My daughter ate every noodle with marinara. All of our meals...
