I stopped by this cozy coffee shop and tried their latte, and it was good. The coffee flavor felt rich and well-balanced, with just the right amount of foam. Definitely recommend this spot for a delicious cup of coffee.

My husband and I love going to the Stone Bean for an afternoon or evening beverage and treat. They make wonderful gluten free baked goods and the cafe is cozy and inviting. The baristas are always friendly and quick.

I think this shop is so cute, and so have been bummed to have negative experiences. In the past I've arrived planning to work and the wifi is out. I know this happens, or that some shops prefer not to offer wifi, so that's fine - I just left, unfortunately. The next time before driving 35 min there, I called to check whether they have working wifi today - and they confirmed 'yes'. Only to arrive half an hour later and find they did not (it didn't work for others either, not just me). I just wish the staff would be up front or check before confirming something like that.

Great tasting coffee, but a place that sells drinks should have a bathroom available IMO

We stopped in here hoping for a nice break from the cold. My mom wanted to treat her kids and grandkids and the barista refused her $100 bill as payment, as did her 20-something year old manager. No reason, no SIGN. There was however a sign for a 2.9% discount for paying in cash, which we were denied. They certainly could make change as it was a busy Saturday afternoon. I mean as a manager, can't you use your discernment as to when to strictly enforce a policy and when to ease up? It's bad customer service, so we spent our money 3 doors down where they appreciated our business. We live locally and will not be returning. Lastly, this is just a disappointing side note, though they carry organic tea, their self serve bar only stocked sugar and chemical sweeteners, no natural alternatives like honey or stevia.

I tried the hot chocolate here for the first time, and it was amazing! Rich, creamy and absolutely delicious. I’ll definitely be coming back just for the hot chocolate it's that good!😋

Love this location. Me and the family always stop here when on a road trip. The coffee is amazing and the food is excellent. On a warm day it's nice to sit outside with the river right next to you. I recommend this place if you're ever in the area.

This is the coziest little coffee shop. Not only is the atmosphere great, but the coffee tastes so much better than the place across the street. The prices aren’t cheap, they’re about even with large chains like Starbucks, but you get a better coffee at The Stone Bean and the satisfaction of supporting a local small business.

Coffee was sad, basically warm milk with maybe the slightest taste of coffee (cappuccino), service and atmosphere are great

I felt like I was stepping into an episode of Gilmore girls. The shop is so cute, everyone was super friendly,.. then the food and coffee?? My husband and I kept saying to each other the whole way home “is this real, why is this so good???” You go here, and you will not be disappointed.

They don’t permit customers to use their rest room. I just checked and this is illegal, in addition to showing great indifference to their patrons.

Nice little coffee shop on the river. The extra shot iced lattes were excellent! Beautiful night in town as well.

We discovered the coffee shop in the winter season and decided to come here once it's warm outside, so we could enjoy a cup of coffee next to the Raritan river, and we did. We have come especially to this coffee shop at least 3 times, even though we live 20 miles away. We sit at the tables which are next to the river (if occupied by others, we wait).
We order Americano, and Breakfast veggie panini or grilled cheese sandwich.
It's very relaxing, sipping nice coffee in nature.
Prices are not cheap. Usually I pay about $27 for 2 Americanos and 2 sandwiches
I highly recommended this place.
