Food is really great (have had the seolleongtang and nangmyun), I'm not sure why other reviewers have given such low ratings. The gamja-jeon was also really good. Service is not anything spectacular but also not missing anything essential.

This is the most horrifying experience I’ve ever had at any restaurant in my life. The food was horrible and not to mention cold. The service was terrible. The waiters made me wait way too long to place my order and then to get my food so long to the point when I finally got it, it was cold, the kitchen, my spoon and the cups look like they weren’t washed. There were bugs and the parking situation was horrible. There is specific parking for the restaurant yet my car had a sticker on it for parking too long even though there’s a two hour parking limit and I was only there for one hour. I will never go back that was a waste of my money and my time, I spoke to the owner about how horrible my experience was and the owner was super rude and ugly

It’s totally not worth to visit and it was the most terrible service I’ve ever had.
They rushed us and cleaned our table even we didn’t finish our meal. Also soup was spattered over my husband’s face while one of server taking his dish. My husband complained and the server just said there’s waiting a lot outside. So disrespectful.
Cold noodles weren’t also tasty. Noodles were too chewy and soup was so bland. Potato pacake was the best even this restaurant’s main dishes are cold noodles.
We will never visit this place again.
Worst restaurant ever.

I have no words. But also so many at the same time.
I was so excited to come back to such a nostalgic place, but I was met with utter disappointment.
First of all, in what area of god’s green earth do they call this bulgogi dupbap? Even though it caused an immediate - and I mean IMMEDIATE - visceral reaction to my stomach, it was flavorless.
Now let’s talk about the service. It took more than ten minutes of us looking around quite obviously for someone to take our order. The staff weren’t friendly by any means. Every time we asked for something - water, the check, the sidedishes - it took a clumsy eternity.
Nearly everything was flavorless. The ones that weren’t (like the bibim naengmyeon) just tasted wrong. I took a bite of my sister’s jeyook dupbap. Let me know why it tasted metallic??? Confused. The mandoo? Flavorless. And to top it all off, the lady gave us MAYBE a teaspoon of soy sauce for our mandoo. Oh, so you’re stingy too?
It’s difficult to find anything good to say about this place. Maybe the air-conditioning?

Used to be the best place for mulnaengmyun. I didn’t mind traveling all the way for their cold noodles. The soup didn’t have any flavor, even with vinegar and mustard. The noodle and dumpling didn’t taste right either. Such a disappointment!

The cold noodles taste good and the people are friendly, but it's a bit expensive for cold noodles.

The service here is absolutely terrible! Was trying to have a nice lunch date with my mom, 3 year old and 5 month old and as soon as we walked in got a sense that we were not welcome. No smiles and the two women looked unhappy. Not only that after we paid the check the older woman came and grumbled and made a fuss about the rice and food that my 3 year old dropped on the floor making it super clear she was not happy about it. Then she took it a step further and she complained to my mom about me asking why I was just sitting there and not cleaning the floor up while I was finishing feeding my baby a bottle. It’s very hard for me to be unhappy about a restaurant yet alone leave a bad review but I have never experienced anything like that. It was my first time and last time and will not be coming back ever again. Do not go there especially if you have kids.

Have been a regular years ago, but stopped going after the owner changed since the taste is significantly degraded. Gave another try just in case and it still hasn’t gotten any better.. really miss the old

I think there was a recent ownership change because their dishes weren't the same, and what we liked was their consistency. As a special treat, we would drive up from central NJ for their cold noodles, but sadly no longer. Their bibim noodles were so spicy you couldn't really taste anything, and their noodles (in general) didn't have the same chewy consistency.
