Les and Marty blew us away with the tasting and from there, we knew it was going to be good. Everything was delicious, there was so much variety and lots of options for us to choose from. Everyone told us how incredible the food was after the wedding! We are so happy with Northern Valley! Thank you Les and Marty!!!

We just held our daughter's wedding at Temple Emanuel in Closter and had catering by Northern Valley Affairs and they were amazing. Les and Marty and team are experienced professionals and very service-oriented. Everything was smooth and beautiful and very well organized and the food was fabulous. We felt in great hands with them and recommend them without reservation.

We could not have found a more outstanding caterer! Having attended many weddings catered by Northern Valley Affairs, we knew that the food would be top-notch. And it was! So was the service -- they provided plenty of help and, even at the buffet, the wait time was minimal. In addition, Les and Marty worked closely with the florist and entertainment company to insure that the wedding flowed seamlessly. Just as important, Les and Marty steered us in the right direction regarding the timing and execution of the affair, along with providing sound advice on the smaller, but no less important details. These gentlemen are true professionals. They are responsive. They give concrete information regarding cost and their estimates are spot on. They kept the bride and groom very much in the loop, without ever overwhelming them, and granted their every request. And finally, they were happy with and for us. It will be our great pleasure to use them in the future and they will be the first and only caterer we call. I cannot recommend them highly enough!

My wife and I just celebrated our wedding ceremony and reception at Temple Emanu-El. Everything was above and beyond expectations. The attention to detail in every aspect of the ceremony and reception was phenomenal. The personal attention to myself, my bride, our personal space before and after the ceremony, and during the reception was absolutely extravagant. The quality of the food was top notch and the service was extraordinary. I can't truly describe how much it means to my wife and me the effort that was expended by Marty, Les, and all of the staff at the temple to make our special day as memorable as possible

We are so happy we had the Wedding at Temple Emanu-El with Northern Valley Affairs for so many reasons. We are so grateful that they were willing to do a vegan wedding, and better than that, the food was outstanding and delicious. We continue to get rave reviews about the food!The facility is breathtakingly gorgeous, and everything was displayed beautifully.The planning of every detail was so organized from the very first meeting — we never had to worry about a thing. It is clear that Marty and Les know what they are doing, and we felt so confident working with them every step of the way. On the wedding day, you were also on top of all the moving pieces and directed us to the correct location at the correct time. They made everything run seamlessly! We also want to give a shoutout to Angela, who was a godsend in the midst of some chaos. Really recommend using Northern Valley Affairs!

Northern Valley Affairs catered our wedding this past weekend, and we couldn’t be happier with our choice. The liquor selection was outstanding and the food was simply delicious! Great attention to detail. Les and Marty (and their team) did not let us worry about a thing. They coordinated with the band, photographer and florist very well, and made our guests feel extremely comfortable. Highly recommended!

We were treated like family the minute we walked through the door at Temple Emanu-El and all throughout the planning process. Les & Marty made all our dreams come true, like two proud Jewish uncles!! My husband and I didn't expect to choose a synagogue as our venue and kosher catering wasn't a requirement for our wedding, but the temple is THAT beautiful, the food is THAT delicious and service/hospitality is THAT incredible that we absolutely fell in love. It was without a doubt the best decision of our wedding!! Our family & friends are still raving about the stunning stained glass dome, the abundant and yummy food and the AMAZING high-end alcohol selection (Clase Azul, Johnny Blue, Woodford Reserve, Don Julio 42), which was included!! The shot bar inside the ballroom was the hit of night for sure. Marty, Les and the entire team at Northern Valley Affairs were super accommodating, responsive at all times (days, nights, weekends) and flexible beyond belief. They really made us feel like the most important bride & groom in the world. Do yourself a favor and host your wedding at Temple Emanu-El ... your family & friends will thank you!! <3

Les and Marty made my daughter’s wedding day as flawless as possible! It was magical from greeting us at the door at 6:45 am for hair and makeup... hanging her ballgown so it wouldn’t wrinkle... to the atmosphere and food of course! Their staff is AMAZING! Angela (personal attendant) is really someone special. She knows exactly what needs to be done and just does it. She takes the stress out of “Wedding Day”! The wedding was in June and my guests are still raving about it! I would not hesitate for a second to have all my future simchas catered by Northern Valley Affairs! Thank you Les and Marty for making our simcha a simcha to remember!

Truly wish Google offered more stars. We only have one daughter and Aug 16th she was married. The one thing we didn't need to worry about was the catering...They are not cheap but if you're in the Kosher world you already know that BUT they are spectacular and your guests will asking for their number and the compliments are 100%. the owner we dealt with Les only knows one word "yes ". Every request is granted and the staff treats every guest like they were on a Crystal Cruise. I have never been on a Crystal Cruise and neither have my guests so this is likely the best food and service we will ever get. Les is also more........after your guests eat so much they can't get to their cars, he asks you to pull up your car and fills it up with leftovers. WOW
