Great pizza and beer. I was about to give a 1-star review based on the typically childish attitude of pizza places these days whereby pineapple is banned. But the service was really brilliant so I’ll let the fruit thing slide.

We've always loved Rudy's Buffalo Wings, and I've given them 5 stars before. However, today's experience was disappointing. I ordered two servings of Buffalo wings, but they mixed fresh wings with leftovers from someone else’s order. Some wings were hot and fresh, while others were cold and clearly not freshly made. This goes against the principles a good restaurant should follow.

Next time, I’ll be sure to check each wing individually to ensure no leftovers are mixed in. I hope the owner or manager sees this review and addresses the issue with the crew working on Wednesday night, August 21st at 7:30 PM. Thank you

Good variety of dishes, fair prices, excellent service. Fair parking lot though it gets very busy with the shops around it. No wait at all on a summer Tuesday evening. Garic knots are cheap and plentiful, the pizza was crispy and a personal is a great size, and my lemon artichoke chicken was fantastic. We enjoyed our dinner here very much!

We hadn't been to eat at the restaurant in awhile. Mostly do take out. Fried sweet and spicy calamari were quite tasty. Had a cheese pizza and tried the gf pasta with pesto. It was very good. Cheese pizza was very good as usual.

There's a reason why this place is usually busy. The food is good. The pizzas just have a little something something that makes it stand out. The home style Italian food is also very good and filling.

Been going to this restaurant for over 40 yrs.
Now live in Florida still come back to NJ to Rudy's . No one beats Rudy's...Everything is delicious...never had a bad meal there...highly recommend!!

The pizza is amazing and the owner is simply fantastic. We called in a pizza and he asked us what time to have it hot and ready; the service, fantastic; the food, 10 stars, the staff, angels on earth. We’re lucky to still have places like this around. Thank you

Family-friendly, great quality, and humility. Something rare to find these days. Whenever we are back in NJ, we try to get a pie from here along with the chicken parm/penne vodka. Houston, TX needs a place like this!

I've ceen coming here since 1998, and the food is still spectacular like grandma's cooking. As a young kid, I remember the old days of Matt or Matty as I called him taking my mom's weekly orders under the name "Maria" and always treating me like I was family. Now more than 25 years later, I am still greeted nicely by new faces and some old faces like John in the front that even remembered I had moved down to Texas almost 10 years ago and says "let me guess, the chicken parm".

It is this type of customer service along with great quality that makes Rudy's the iconic Italian-American staple restaurant in the Northern Valley and NE part of Bergen county. The town of Closter is lucky to have such a great family-friendly spot with a lot of familiar faces and new faces that continue to carry on the great tradition and quality that Rudy's has become famous for. I ordered a margarita pizza, and the worker told me to wait ten minutes for a fresh slice.. instead I waited ten minutes for a slice of white sauce pizza with tomato sauce poured on top with two slices of cheese. How ridiculous.My friend ordered barbecue chicken pizza and instead of saying they didn’t have any, they did the same to his pizza and just added chicken pieces and poured barbecue on top.I would not recommend coming. Unless you want to pay high prices for low quality pizza plus lies.
