What a great idea, something different. We like oysters and are always looking for a new experience. The Hill is very pretty, always a good start. The staff were trying to be very efficient seating the whole room at the same time, good try. The seating was very, very tight we were basically eating at the same table as the couples next to us. But I understand. Unfortunately it went down HILL from there. The music started, it was good but way too loud for a crowded small room. Several patrons asked if the amplifier could be turned down. The response was when the song ended, that never happened. For 3 hours we listened to a concert not being able to hear any conversation. The food and service were fine, they were trying, the drinks were better than fine. All in all never again for me but it was interesting. To the owner, next time LOWER the music!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Fantastic dinner at The Hill Restaurant. The winter risotto was rich and perfectly balanced, the NY strip steak was expertly cooked and full of flavor, and the pasta arrabbiata with lobster had just the right heat with tender, generous lobster. Everything was beautifully executed—definitely worth a return visit.

A local gem! We had a group of 8 people dining on weekend. The foods were absolutely delicious, waitress was very friendly yet professional, beautiful atmosphere, and we had a lovely time. Highly recommended and we will definitely come back!

We spent $1,000 on dinner for a party of 5. Unfortunately the waitress was extremely rude and I clearly felt we were treated poorly because we were Asian. I did leave a 20% tip which was not deserved and will not be returning again

Went for Sunday lunch and the restaurant was empty, but the food still took forever to come out. Our food was very salty. Server was very pleasant

If you don't eat at this restaurant regularly you should. Each time I come I try something different and each time it's amazing and so different. The restaurant is absolutely beautiful in a cozy way. Service is exceptional. This is a well run establishment which doesn't cut corners. You can tell there is a high level of pride and execution here.

As usual the food was great!! Menu has changed and I appreciate that. The genius who created the French onion soup dumplings deserves a trophy, they are absolutely delicious!!! Oysters were great, lamb chops could have been cooked less , I requested medium rare but they were closer to well done, still delicious!! Everything else was outstanding!! So were Dave's not here! Enjoyable as always!!

From start to finish, our experience at The Hill was outstanding. The appetizers, entrées, and dessert were all absolutely delicious, each dish felt thoughtfully prepared and packed with flavor. The drinks were just as impressive, perfectly crafted and balanced.

The atmosphere was warm and inviting, with a great crowd that made the space feel lively but relaxed. What really made the night special was the owner, Ben, who came by and sat with us for a genuinely great conversation. You can tell he cares deeply about the experience and the community he's built.

And the food? It held up beautifully the next day. Our 6 and 3year-old boys absolutely devoured the short rib mac and cheese leftovers—no complaints, just clean plates and big smiles.

This place is a gem. Whether you're going for a date night, a celebration, or just a great meal with family, The Hill delivers on every front. We’ll definitely be back.

Nice place. Went for early dinner date. No one was there. Great menu. I felt like the waiter forgot about us and our food came out cold. I will try one more time on a busier night. I thought $32 for a glass of whistle pig 12 was way too much

The onion soup dumplings were very tasty. All entrees were well prepared and portions were filling. We will return to the Hill. The bar was very nice as well.

This is top notch. Excellent professionalism from the staff and high quality food. The interior is also excellent and appealing. Prices for the quality. I:d recommend The Hill anytime for the Pascack Valley top eateries.

Switching gears from in-house dining and take out, what an experience going to Chef Ben's Wine Event. Simply put...wonderful Rioja wines perfectly paired, insanely prepared and delicious food, as usual wicked service! What else is there? Dynamite place and cannot wait for the next meal whichever type it is!

I can’t ever go here again because of Mother’s Day. I tried to cancel a reservation and sought reimbursement of the reservation fee because my daughter was depressed after being in the hospital for 8 days. It was to be a joyous occasion since she just returned and my wife had slept in a chair next to her bedside almost every night. However they denied reimbursement citing their policy so I opted to keep the reservation instead only to discover later that they had canceled it without my authorization. They had given the table to someone else yet still refused to reimburse me the deposit. I spoke to both Lauren (manager) and Ben (owner) and they both flat out refused. I could have disputed the charge with my cc company but my wife ended up getting takeout because of the traumatic week and lack of a backup plan. The food was just meh and lacked any flavor similar in a way to my experience with the management that was void of any empathy or common decency. Never again!

One person in my party had a dietary issue and sensitive to one of the seasonings in their entree l. However, the staff was more than accommodating in replacing with another option that was terrific. Definitely felt comfortable and appreciated from the entire team at The Hill. Kudos!
