We went there for a special occasion dinner. Everything... literally everything... was outstanding from start to finish. The service was absolutely on point. While not inexpensive, the food quality matched that of some of the best restaurants we've dined at in NYC and throughout our travels. In addition, the portion sizes were ample. I hesitated to order the scallops, as many places tend to serve too few to make it worthwhile. I was very pleasantly surprised to find that The Hill served plenty of scallops, which were impeccably prepared. Our server was absolutely delightful. We had a wonderful conversation with the host (owner?). After discussing how amazing the cocktails were, she invited us to the bar to see some of their spirit offerings and chat with the bartender. We will absolutely be back.

We have dined here many times and they always go above and beyond. The atmosphere and service was excellent and the food is always delicious. They have great cocktails, crooked smile is definitely a favorite. Chef Ben and his staff are top notch. Highly recommend.

The halibut was ok, it took long to get ( not busy at all ) and came out barely warm. We sent back to to re heat and was better. No bread, no potatoes . Ordered dessert and coffee. Got the coffee, dessert came after I finished coffee. Not good.

I’ve had a few experiences with The Hill over the last year and a half—all positive with nothing but good things to say. After hearing about them, we had dinner and then we booked our wedding reception in their main dining room before we left. The food was THAT good. I don’t particularly like to eat, and the food here was absolutely astounding. Maybe I just never had a good meal before eating here, and I wish they were more within my budget to make it a regular thing, but they are worth every cent.
Their service and event management are top-notch. The GM, Lauren, and her team are genuinely the nicest and sweetest people. They actually care about you and about the service and the experience of their guests. While we booked our wedding here primarily for the food, the staff and their skills really made it worthwhile. And maybe I’ve never had a good meal or good service before coming here, but I’ll tell you what: I haven’t had anything close to it since. If you’re looking for a place to eat or a place to party, you have found it.
I so look forward to coming back on our anniversary every year and can’t wait to see what risotto they’ll have next summer! The Hill truly made our wedding day unforgettable, and we highly recommend them to anyone seeking exceptional dining and event experiences.
Update: promised I’d come back but did take out. Wow! Take out took as good as the dine-in. Bravo!! You found a loyal customer.
