Sapori Trattoria Italiana is an authentic high-quality Italian restaurant in the heart of downtown Collingswood. The menu has a good selection and plenty of specials. I ended up ordering the pappardelle with rabbit. This was a very unique dish and was prepared very well. For an appetizer, I ordered a special cheese dish, which included tomino cheese covered with prosciutto, honey, and dried fig. The food was very good, the service very attentive and the atmosphere was very relaxed. Other guests were friendly. A neighborhood secret! The owner/chef Franco checked in on us during our dinner.
Every visit to Sapori feels special. The service is warm and attentive, especially from the charming Italian gentleman who always takes great care of us. The dishes are full of flavor and taste authentic, and the cozy setting truly makes you feel like you are dining in Italy. This place has easily become one of our go to favorites.
