What can I say? This "neighborhood" spot is not the usual. It's a special treat, yet nearby. Excellent, attentive service. Delicious menu with flavors. Small and cozy. Yes, I'll be back to see you Chef Joey Baldino. Maybe at Zeppoli, maybe at Palizzi!

Hands down The Absolute BEST Taste of Italy ?? without having to travel abroad that my wife and I have ever had. Thank you so much Nick, and to all who contributed in making our experience that much more memorable. We most definitely will be back again!

For the area, this is probably a very nice night out. In general, was a skosh underwhelmed. Started the night with the fennel sausage, which everyone around us got. The flavoring I enjoyed but maybe a bit salty. We also got the gamberetti e fagioli, which are whole seasoned prawns with beans. I appreciated that they were peeled shrimp but the flavoring for me wasn't there. You choose $65 pasta or meat 3 course of 4 course with both for $75. So we did pasta next. Taliatelli al limone with prosciutto was too lemony/citrusy. The gnocchi was shocking, as you'll see in the pictures. Highlight of the night in the browned butter but not sure it's gnocchi? Went for the ribeye for $10 extra, the seasoning was nice but overall a fine steak. The fisherman's stew was a nice combo of seafood and is essentially a cioppino. Whole meal came with excellent bread and olive oil. BYOB which uncomplicated things from that respect. The tables were very close together which at first was worrisome but wasn't so difficult in the end. Oh and the dessert. Probably all of them are fine. The cannoli wasn't as much typical cannoli cream as I wanted. Overall glad I went but I wouldn't recommend to anyone traveling from Pennsylvania unless they're coming from NJ.

I am a big believer in supporting smaller restaurants and Zeppoli is a collingswood favorite.. however last night the $200 we spend was extremely disappointing.. the food was excessively salty ( how do you manage to make even a side salad to be salty?), ribeye steak was rare even though we asked for it to be medium and large portion had too much fat , fisherman stew was inedible- again excessively salty.. also not sure if the heat was turned on at the restaurant.. the only highlight was the bread and the dessert..not sure if the original owners no longer there but as I read thru some of the reviews, but some of these complaints are coming up. Not going back.

Easily the best dining experience in the Philly area. The food is excellent, and the front of house is really on point. The ambiance is exactly the right amount of hustle and bustle to provide privacy of conversation in a otherwise (wonderfully) close/cozy seating space. The timing between courses is bizarrely perfect (making me want to do it again just to make sure they pull that off every night!). It all really allows for a person to just sit, enjoy conversation, and experience some amazing food. Food-wise I was most blown away by the perfect amount of fennel in the sausage. My wife would have ordered the gnocchi for every course. Each course was excellent and I could go on and on about the little unique points in each course— but at $75/person for a prefix meal, splurge a little and try it yourself. It’s easily worth twice that.

Cute little Italian spot with a more romantic type of atmosphere. Definitely a quieter, more date type of place. I enjoyed the food (gnocculi was unique and stand out) and experience, I only wish there was a little more transparency on pricing. The restaurant is prefixe only (except take out)- I only learned of this only after I received a reservation confirmation text, as it’s not mentioned on their website nor upon booking online. While this isn’t my preference, the restaurant is very local to me and I had been wanting to try it out, so we went for it.Additionally, there are several price tiers and none of them are even listed on the physical menu at the restaurant (nor the website). Of course the waiter will take you through everything but it would just be nice to know exactly what things cost, how much each add on is etc., straight up.All that aside, they do appear to have a lovely outdoor patio so I look forward to trying it out again for a special occasion in the spring!

Very worth the trouble of getting a reservation! The food was absolutely amazing! If I had to say something negative about anything I had it would only be that the pasta dish was too lemony if that's even a word. Will be going back again ASAP!

Zeppoli had been on our list to try for several years. It is not easy to get a reservation because of the great reviews. Zeppoli constantly shows up as one of top Italian restaurants in the South Jersey and Philadelphia areas. The space is small but has ample parking behind the restaurant. Zeppoli is located in West Collingswood and not in the downtown area on Haddon Ave. It is across the street from La Beiruit. The inside is small and charming but loud as to be expected. The service and food was very good. It definitely lived up to expectations and the hype. The squid ink pasta was probably the best we have ever had. Everything was delicious, flavorful and excellent. The only problem or problems we had was when checking the menu on Zeppoli's web page there was a prix fixe and a la carte option and prices listed for both options. However, upon arrival on a Sunday night we were told only the prix fixe options were available. Not a big deal, but this could have been clarified on the web site. Appetizer, pasta and dessert is $45.00 and appetizer, main and dessert is $55.00. Add $10 for the steak. Not inexpensive but not outrageous for the quality of food. If you want additional bread it is an extra $5.00. This is worth it as the bread was home made and delicious. 4.5 Yelp stars for Zeppoli and we would definitely go back.

If I'm ever in a 150 mile radius of this establishment I will be booking my reservation!!!! Bar none some of the best food I've ever had. Everything was so flavorful and fresh. We ordered the lemonade, salad, the sausage appetizer, the mushroom pasta (chef's special) and roasted chicken. It was so delicious that I'm speechless!! RUN don't miss this special place!

The ambience was dim & great for date night. The chairs were a bit slippery lol. My boyfriend and I did the pre-fixe 3 course pasta option. We shared the antipasto, which had a lot. It probably could've used more meats & cheeses. I got the pesto which I really liked. My boyfriend got the lemon pasta, which he really seemed to enjoy. I thought it may have been a little too lemony/intense. We ended with the cannolis and the zeppolis which were tasty. The place is BYOB which is nice. The staff was very friendly.Went on 10/5/2023
